Visited the store this week, everything you could possibly need under one roof, prices are so affordable and all animals are cared for, owner is very knowledgeable and helpful with all questions.
Great selection and very friendly and well informed staff. Our Geordi always gets a wee bit of sausage (when he sits nice) and we always feel welcome.
Our dog was chuffed with all the treats we got him! Very friendly chatty staff who clearly love dogs. Really well stocked with lots of fun treats... Just thought I'd attach a picture of my dog sleeping on the tube as I forgot to take a pic of the actual shop!

I had visited this store multiple times previously and had done multiple purchases. However my last experience left me feeling targeted and horrible! The guy who was supposed to give me the fishes which I had picked would try his best to belittle me and act as if I knew nothing about fishes. Even though I have been fish keeping and breeding for over 20 years now. When I was asked to give contact details, I asked him that it’s my 5th time visiting the store and why is it that I have give my personal details to the nth detail every time and how does the system not have the details already (when my name/number was entered). I was told either give the details that was asked or go to some other shop. There were several other customers but noticed that this behaviour was only towards me. I couldn’t believe how badly I was treated and still left with the purchase unfortunately. I get it you want the pets to go to good homes but this behaviour is appalling! Would never ever visit the store again!

I've been taking my 4 dogs in here since they were puppies. There's a nice selection of food and treats. The staff always answer any questions I ask about diet, etc. my dogs love the staff in the shop so much that we now have to pop in to say hello and pick up some treats every time we walk past
It's a little neat pet shop. You can buy a variety of stuff there e.g. fish+food, rabbits+food, guinea pig+ good and lots more. Staff are helpful when needed.
In my review, I would like to make it clear that what I will be talking about is nothing short of animal abuse. I have heard from friends and family that Pets at Home Fort Kinniard have previously housed rabbits in enclosures meant for smaller animals, such as guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, and mice. But now I have seen this with my own eyes, and I was brought to tears. According to the Scottish Government and their Rabbit Welfare Guidance, which is a part of the Animal Health and Welfare Scotland (Act) 2006, 'the minimum total area required for two average-sized rabbits is 10ft (3m) × 6ft (180cm) × 3ft (90cm) high'. This Act also states that rabbits should be able to 'exercise freely'. This poor rabbit, which I met, whose name is Sugar, is/was not being housed in appropriate conditions, and this is appalling. Surely, a shop that sells and cares for animals and animal products should know that it is abusive and neglectful to keep a rabbit in such conditions. And even if they are unaware of the guidelines (which would be unlikely considering they house and care for animals), I think that it takes some common sense and a good heart to look at that rabbit and realise that this is cruel. How are the public supposed to learn to treat rabbits correctly and safely if a large chain of shops such as Pets at Home can't even treat them well? Again, this is shocking and abusive treatment, which should never have happened and should never happen again. Lastly, I have attached some photos of poor Sugar and their housing.
It is such a lovely shop, always clean, tidy and well stocked. It is my dog's favourite spot, he cannot resist going there every time we are passing by. We will not let us go home without popping in for a snack 😋
Husband took dog to get her nails clipped, said she was knowledgeable, efficient, and a decent price. Will be returning here for this service and recommend it 👍
Just had the most amazing experience at Jollyes. Both employees were absolutely fantastic. Purchased a variety of plants some Cory's, rummy nose tetras and everything was perfect. Customer service was 10/10, prices are fantastic, shop clean. Probably the best experience customer service wise I have had in a long time. This company should be proud to have employees like this. Well done, thank you and keep doing what you are doing. Will be back :)

Aquarium section.. I've bought almost all my fishes over there. For 2 tanks.. Today I came to buy betta. And there where questions like at police station. He asked me what fish I have in the tank so I told him that I do have Angel fish and couple of neon tetras etc. Which he replied I cant sell you betta, cose you have Angel fish in the tank.. I told him that both my tanks has a Angel fish and betta inside and its absolutely fine and I remind him that I bought them in the store through the months. What a bunch of idiots. So I went to that guy who sold me almost all of them. And he said.. Sorry that was my mistake.. OK once maybe but at least 5 times I went there for the fishes... my point is if you don't want to sell your fishes don't display them!! And don't make every time new excuses.. anywhere else you go in the Bradford they give you little bit of advice and sell you what ever you want... unless there is a big risk of attack and stress.. but here what a joke!!

Absolutely wonderful shop was beyond happy every time I pop in I always buy my bird food in bulk because there are no good pets stores where I live I fell in love with 2 cockatiels a couple of months apart and they are my best pals I can even begin to describe the joy Ash and ghost have brought to my home the picture is Ash ghost and little Phoenix she came from a hand tame breeder but the 2 I got from here happy healthy loving funny little pranksters thats them with my brother ❤️

Absolutely pointless store for cat food unless you want the basic whiskers garbage! More holes in the shelves than a colander and all the healthier cat food is no where to be seen. The stock levels are a joke basically. Staff friendly, but ultimately there’s no point coming here for your cat because you’ll only be able to get whiskers or other basic supermarket food for them, only often more expensive.

It's been about a month since I've adopted my Black Moor, a very happy little lad. The lady let me pick which one I wanted which I really liked as I wanted the smallest one! I'm no expert in fish keeping but he seems relaxed but non lethargic! Bare in mind you will be asked how big your tank is and weather or not you've got filters/heaters. Unfortunately, I had no picture of my tank at the time but I assured the lady my tank was of standard size and had a filter as well as air pump and she was happy to sell to me. In the aquarium section they had these GORGEOUS multicoloured guppies which I was super tempted to get however my research had only extended to the keeping of black moors so I decided to stay faithful haha. If you're interested in buying a black more from here, from what I saw there were some larger 10cm ones and some smaller 5cm-ish ones. Sometimes black moors have their backs swooping upwards however I liked how their bodies had more of a streamline egg shape. (if this is relevant to anyone) It was a bit sad to see these adorable birds kept in cages but hey- a pet shop is a pet shop! They had a huge range of pet supplies and I will definitely be visiting again for a restock of supplies and maybe another fish! The people working there definitely know what they're doing! We just came in to see the fish, there seems to be a wide range of pet related items on offer, especially stuff for the aquarium or terrarium, the fish tanks seemed well maintained and one staff member especially was super friendly to my son who was curious about some fish. He loved hearing the piranha story! Great place if you need pet supplies and want to shop locally.
