Rollin' into the day with my e-bike acting up like a wild stallion with a mind of its own, I first moseyed on over to Halfords bike shop, lookin' for some help. But as luck would have it, they told me I need to hitch my wagon and book a time if I was hopin' to get any service, leaving me high and dry just when I had a close call with a car near Leeds City Center, on account of my brakes not biting down right. Not one to sit around like a tumbleweed in the breeze, I set my sights on Woodrup bicycle shop, figured I'd try my luck there. No sooner had I swung through their doors, a kindly lady welcomed me with a smile as warm as a Texas sunrise, and quicker than you can say "giddy up," she rustled up a staff member to come take a gander at my unruly steed. Turns out, the troublemaker was a disobedient brake caliper. They rolled up their sleeves and set to work, fitting my ride with a brand spankin' new Shimano brake caliper on the back. Let me tell you, it's like night and day! My steed's now stopping on a dime, making me feel a heap safer galloping through the city streets once again. Big tip of my hat and a hearty "thank you" to the folks over at Woodrup bicycle shop. You bet your boots I'll be riding back through their doors whenever my bike starts acting the fool again. Y'all have turned me into one satisfied cowboy.
I would like to start off by saying a big thank you to the owner of the bike shop who gave me brilliant service. My bike had a Sram Rival Dubble tap set up and hydraulic brakes other shops didn’t want to do the work on it and the brother at this shop gave me a very very competitive quote and did the job to perfection well with in the time limit stated. Seems to me this chap can literally fix any bike. I also needed some extra bits for the bike and he even managed to sort them out. I very highly recommend Ladypool Cycles. Thank you for sorting me out much appreciated.
Initially took my bike to Halfords for a service and repair, which they ended up making it worse. Took it to damn dirty and the guy went though everything with me and told me what my issues are. Gave me a rough price and was done very quickly. Highly recommend very friends and know what he’s doing.

On December 23 , 2023 , my bicycle sadly died , and it is my means of transportation to get work , arroun 15km cycling. I almost didn¨t go shopping for my new bike because of the bad reviews . I went to a couple of well-know stores in the city , but the offer of "cheap hybrid bikes" was very limited and they need many extras , such as fenders . The model that I liked was offered by EVANS , and I did not hesitate to go and meet the store and its amazing crew . FINDLAY assisted to me and we saw what interested me kindly and patiently , because it is already know that many times , WE , CUSTOMERS , inexperienced and impatient due to different circumstances . I am happy to see for my self that the Evans crew is great at self-motivated at work , they know what they doing an I have not doubt that Findlay y is an proactive expert and has people skills .

Great bike shop with excellent service. Julian was really helpful in choosing the right parts, and even advised against the (more expensive) tubeless tires saying it probably wasn't the best for me! The whole process from start to finish was really smooth. The only downside being that the wait was several months from when I ordered, but it was worth the wait. Also got good advice and help with picking new shoes. In the end I'm really happy with my new bike and it will hopefully last me for many miles and years to come.
