Spotted job similar to what I had been doing, forwarded my CV online, then Allstaff got in touch within a few minutes that my experience was ideal, and applied online. Call back short time later, asking to register with them the next day, Passport ID checked and Induction day after. But waiting from client as when to start. Helpful chat with Beth (and Gordon), in the meantime. Finally started work, obviously doing okay as I'm still with client, temporary position, but constant shifts, with notification from Allstaff, asking to confirm I could work the shifts offered the following week. Enjoying working there too...

We agreed to continue working together until the end of September on full time basis, as I was due to start my final year at university. Throughout my time at university, the same company kept me on part-time hours , and now that I've completed my studies, I've seamlessly transitioned into a full-time contract directly through company ❤️. It's been an incredible 10 months with Bell Cornwall. I've never had any issues with my payments, and I rarely needed to contact the agency for assistance. Was sent to work at the DC Lottery headquarters As an event coordinator. I’ve never in my life experienced such unprofessionalism on a job. I was harassed and disrespected countless times for two months. I reported the issue to my supervisor on site on more than one occasion with email receipts to match; just letting him know of the employee who was very rude and disorderly when it came to his approach to me in person and on emails and Team Messages. I was told by the supervisor verbatim “that’s just him, take it with a grain of salt”. I was hired through The midtown group and upon finding out what I experienced they asked me why didn’t I contact them first. I let them know, I thought by contacting someone who was actually on site that was the best thing to do; they acted like they understood my approach but then basically stopped responding in reference to next steps. If you’re thinking of working for DC Lottery, think again! Ever since the pandemic, the staff clearly got used to not working. Nobody’s does anything in that office and the people with seniority treat new employees like trash. I asked midtown if I could leave a review about my experience and was told please don’t leave a review because DC Lottery is their client. I was also told that since I didn’t let them know my concerns before leaving the DC Lottery, due to feeling harassed that they wouldn’t work me again.That’s absurd because you’re protecting your client and not your representatives. Disgusting!!!

I had a recruiter reach out via LinkedIn for a role selling to law firms. She starts the call by saying "They're looking for 1 year of experience selling to law firms and you only have 8 months, so this isn't going to be a fit." My work experience was clearly listed on my LinkedIn page, so I'm not exactly sure why she reached out if being four months short of their experience requirement in a highly niche field is disqualifying. We spoke for another 20 or so minutes about the kind of role I was looking for and then I never heard from her again. Total waste of time.

Three words: sham staffing firm. Mondo has offered me the worst experience among all of the recruiting engagements I have been involved in. Having worked over a dozen contracts, I say that with gravity and full intent. Candidates: your involvement may start out with promise and hope. The staff at Mondo is cordial. However, any and all gains will come with a long term detrimental cost that will not be offset with reward. Melissa Falbo recruited me for a cybersecurity position located in New Jersey. She was both amicable and professional. However, there were alarming issue which prevailed. Foremost, I sensed she was under fierce pressure from her manger Chris Thorn. Melissa told me over the phone that Christopher Thorn repeatedly insisted she contact me regarding our targeted engagement – and she said as much without losing any degree of professional composure. Though her words were neutral, her tone spoke of a situation that had become unbearable on her psyche. At the top of the Mondo Glassdoor page there is a red banner that reads, “Glassdoor Alert: Attempt to Inflate Reviews.” As the title of one Glassdoor review reads, “MONDO NEEDS TO GET SHUT DOWN!! PEOPLE'S LIVES ARE BEING RUINED!!!” This is a verbatim copy and paste from Glassdoor and this review was left on February 21, 2023. A person has to wonder, if the service at Mondo is good, what is the expense of that in terms of how their workers are affected? Judging from my perceived panic when speaking to Melissa, the expense and toll on human labor is immense. Melissa persisted in convincing me to attend to the interview despite my reservations. The client was reluctant to proceed so I sent a convincing “thank you” email in efforts to better their interest. At any rate, Cheng requested a third impromptu chat, following the first two interviews. My impression was that the team simply wanted to get to know me. I expressed hesitation and alarm, given a formal contract had been signed and a set rate was stipulated. Signed, sealed, and delivered – not quite. Leading up to that third meeting, I had already ordered everything for my first day on site – new business attire, mapped directions to the job site. I was nervous though eager, typical of any candidate on the verge of starting a position. Cheng used the word “interview” in the morning in reference to the meeting that would take place that same afternoon. This was an interview I was hardly prepared for as Melissa had insisted repeatedly that it would be no interview – the talk would be a routine meeting, she reiterated. After all, a contract had been signed. I indicated as much to Cheng and she immediately became flustered. She moved quickly with a phone call to Thorn. Thorn gave an explanation after Cheng got off the phone – and his narrative did not add up. He explained that Peraton Labs changed their hiring process the same week of my interview and now requires three interviews as opposed to the standard two which they had been conducting for some time before then. Peraton Labs rescinded their offer. Discord broke out as expected. When I followed up with questions and inquiries, tension increased even further. I received an mail from Joshua Grill, a Human Resources Business Partner with Peraton Labs. Grill sent me a demand letter ordering me to cease contact with parties – and the odd thing is he came off more like a mob boss. It’s as though he’s fixer who breaks kneecaps – more so than an HR professional. I feel bad for Melissa. If the Glassdoor reviews are accurate, Melissa is doing Chris’s work for him and there is a lot of chatter which speaks to the idea that this company is more or less a glorified pyramid scheme. Does a person really need to say: avoid Mondo? These are my opinions – and are not claims of fact in the same way that a person may render content from a news source or media outlet. As opposed to facts, opinions contain conjectures and are swayed by human emotion or bias. Avoid Mondo so that these opinions do not become your own.
God forbid you have to work with Stacey Clearman. Why would you set up an interview and then I never hear from you again. The job was nothing like what I described my work history involved and really down played my abilities. Very unprofessional. Randstad has more viable IT opportunities for those interested in employment.

This company should be called UNRELIABLE STAFFING. MICHAEL let our client down as he was not attentive, very slow and unprofessional. He sent us a contract for 2 Party Helpers, our client signed it, we specified the address of the event many times and one day before the party MICHAEL informed me that they can no provide a service at the address we provided as it is a private house. I mentioned that I provided the address right away, he never asked me if it was a private residence and sent me a contract and told me about the rule at the very last minute. Very sloppy, unprofessional and not detailed oriented Manager MICHAEL. No thank you! Stay away!

However, due to a non-compete clause between Tempositions subcontractors, the ability for a TEMPORARY EMPLOYEE to transfer from one company to another is restricted. This restriction prevents individuals from accessing additional, higher-paying opportunities, even when it would not adversely affect these companies. Such a change could promote balance and benefit all parties involved.
