We had this work booked for 3 weeks with them and the evening before we got a call to say they didn’t have a car and they couldn’t do the job. They still wanted the job but couldn’t tell us when they would be able to do it. They were going to keep our car over Christmas where they are closed down. Our job was a half hour job. After reading other reviews I felt very uneasy and cancelled as we were so mucked about by them with no warning. We went to another garage and they sorted it out it minutes.
Absolutely outstanding! Asked for repair Wednesday am and Pete from Surrey turned up first thing Thursday. Such a lovely guy and couldn’t have been more professional and accommodating. Really great service and the repair was completely invisible. A great all round service.
The turn around for the work was quick and the quality of the job I was very pleased with. Pricing for Edinburgh was very competitive too, which was nice given it was a private job and out of pocket. Please don’t allow your insurance company to send your car to this garage. I had a non fault accident and I’m normally fussy over back street garages and I was completely correct, when I got call to collect vehicle it was a absolutely awful experience the paintwork didn’t match the panels was not aligned and the rear light used old screws and didn’t fit body. Fast forward 8 months of calls and emails the car went to car hospital in Birkenhead and they wrote vehicle off as the repair would of exceeded and the previous repair from r2u was terrible even the quarter panel wasn’t fitted correctly and started to flake on paintwork
I had three different areas on my Audi A4 that needed attention. All I can say is wow! The quality of the work is phenomenal. I am so impressed by the result and will certainly be using the team again! Thank you
Wasn't happy from start to end got car painted though insurance and after a few weeks found a burn out in the paint work from over polishing from the opposite side of the boot to blend in paint wouldn't recommend at all

I was guided by the comments and stars of this place and I had a terrible experience!!! They work with my insurance company and they did not do their job. They painted my car in a different color and the secretary, Monica, is too rude. She does not know how to talk to customers, which is why I had to call the manager to fix my car as it should be, they did it because I called my insurance company and complained but I do not recommend this place, they only fix aesthetic and visible parts, not the real problem in my case, I recommend that you can take a mechanic from trust and do not be guided by the score, it is often misleading!!!! Terrible experience!!!

So I was a little apprehensive when I brought my kid's Lexus RX 350 there with a list of mechanical maintenance issues ranging from easy to semi-tricky. B&L seemed like a good choice since they're right around the corner from me, though I hadn't visited them before. They dug into the engine bay and replaced spark plugs/coils (not an easy task on a 3.5L V6 Lexus), cleaned the throttle body, new air filter, and performed a beast of a job in replacing an oil line for the VVT-i supply. The communication was straightforward, the workmanship excellent, and the price was right, better than the stealership! Kudos to Jimmy, Alex and the team at B&L. I highly recommend this body shop. My mother and aunt have taken their car multiple times and everyone has taken great care of her. They have all helped them throughout the entire process. I used Hills Body repairs recently for some extensive paint work on my Jaguar F-Pace which had special paint. Darren, his son and the team had to re-do the whole of one side of the car, one wheel trim and both wing mirrors. They did an amazing job, the car looks like it just came out the showroom and a perfect paint match. The price was very competitive, actually the best quote I had. I honestly couldn’t be more happy that I chose Bodyworks R Us! From the incredibly professional and quick turnover time considering it’s only a few days away from New years to affordable prices. Overall 10/10 experience! My car had been hit and needed the dents removed, parts replaced and paint work. As a female with VERY little knowledge about car parts the owner still made sure he talked me through everything he was going to do to fix my car. I dropped my car off on Wednesday and by Thursday I had been updated with pictures and videos of my car being worked on. By Friday I received more updates and my car was ready (and washed😳) for collection on Saturday! Definitely will be recommending to anyone who will listen!

I did a full service here last month and they used a cheap/broken air filter almost destroying my engine! After a month driving, I found the fuel consumption almost doubled (previous 7.6, after service 13.5)! They claimed there is nothing to do with their full service and it’s totally normal to have a high fuel consumption on a 3-year old car! But when we realized it maybe due to the poor filter and checked it, we found the filter is broken and totally not functioning! I bought a genuine filter on amazon and replaced it. Now the fuel consumption is going back to normal. I won’t come to this garage anymore!
