Carlos and team did a fantastic job with installing turf in our front lawn. They provided excellent communication, arrived on time and were extremely professional. Their team was able to level the area, put down small rocks and then install the turf all in one day. They also left the area very clean when they were finished. They came back 9 months later to do a retouch on a few corners that came up slightly due to our dogs running around. It’s already been over a year and the lawn looks absolutely perfect. We couldn’t be happier. Wish we would have done it sooner. Hoping to enjoy (or for our 2 pitbulls rather) the turf for many many years to come. We had our routine service done yesterday by Evan and CC and I had a request outside of a normal “trim and cleanup.” I wasn’t home so I requested a call. Evan called me and took my over the phone direction to a T!! They were perfect and went above and beyond!! (See before and after below!)
I am so happy with my project which Thomas made a reality. This was a blank area with nothing but “grass”. Thomas is a knowledgeable, patient Landscaper, he listened to my wishes and made great suggestions to make this work out. It’s hard to tell from this photo because a lot of things are deciduous, but there will Interest all year long. In three years this will be lush. The air-conditioning unit will be a little bit hidden and the gas meter as well.
As we sit enjoying our evening out at the local cocktail establishment, we are currently planning a wedding party in our ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS garden professionally managed by John the gardener. Our garden is immaculate, covered in flower, weed free, watered, curated, maintained and kept looking its best by the best landscaper in the business. John. We rest easy, we look out on our deck, enjoying the morning air, sipping espresso from tiny cups and look at our expansive years in the morning light, we look and admire, drinking deep the view, the beautiful landscaping from John keeps out yard fresh and out spirits high. We enjoy our mornings, our afternoons, out weekend get togethers, knowing, secure in the fact, the John has been busy, keeping everything ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and looking amazing. We love the service and will continue to have him. If you select, no; if you are so lucky as to have John as your gardener, you will not be happy. You will have the best garden you can have for your life. Out of the gate, they were great. They gave us a reasonable estimate compared to others. They had fantastic reviews. We submitted the plans to them, so they just needed to execute them. We waited a year. At that point, we had reduced the scope of the project and so they gave us a new estimate that nearly doubled the price. They told us it was because of price increases over the year. But the reality, as we found out, is that they didn't estimate the price well. That was a red flag, but we were excited about the yard, and we knew the other estimates, so we went with it. The process of getting the work done was mostly great. They were done sooner than expected. There were still a few issues. They were planting one lime and two oranges, even though we asked for a lime, an orange and a lemon. Elvia tried to convince us that lime and lemon were the same, so we didn't need a lemon; we should just stick with two oranges. We had to insist because, obviously, they aren't the same. The other issue was with the turf. We wanted pet-friendly turf. Elvia told us she would show us some samples before they installed it. She didn’t. The roll they had seemed leftover from another job. We let it go because it was nice. During the walk-through, the installation didn't look great, but we were told that it would be fixed by the end of the day. It wasn't. Jagged seams. Coming up in parts, and they were light on the infill, so all the blades were lying down. We had asked for stabilized DG. In the back, after it dried out, it was clear that it wasn't installed well. There were patches that were just dirt. To their credit, they came and rectified it. However, the turf is still subpar. I wouldn't recommend them for turf at all. And the DG is not stabilized. It is poorly graded, and water pools around our garage. When we brought that up, Elvia suggested that they put in a French drain. Which, of course, would be an uncharge. Keep in mind that stabilized DG is almost as solid as concrete, and if graded right, water will flow away from structures, which should be the case with all grading. So they wouldn't fix that. During the first rains, a lot of DG washed away, which is always an issue with DG. But this was way more than I'd expect with stabilized DG. The biggest issue we've had since is with the drip irrigation. We did drought-tolerant plants. When they left, Elvia told us to water for 5 minutes per day. This surprised us. We believed that new plants needed more water in the beginning. But we listened. We have a water monitoring system, and for the first few weeks, that 5 minutes was 9 gallons of water. Then, suddenly, after two weeks, it jumped up to 25 gallons. That’s a lot for 5 minutes. They disagreed and said there was no issue. When I asked how many emitters they had and the flow rate so I could calculate how much water we should expect, the installer had no idea. He said he just installs it. Then, a fungus started growing in areas of the mulch where clearly a lot of water had been pouring out. Yet, they insisted it was no issue. Elvia said to wait one week, no watering, and they would come back. It rained early in the week. But now it’s been two weeks, and I've heard nothing from them. My plants need water. Five of them are already dead. I've had to go through the system myself to figure out the issue. That's when I found that they didn't even use emitters. They use tubing with the emitters built in. Which in and of itself is not an issue if you space the plants out well enough. The issue is that there is so much tubing and so few plants that large swaths of my yard, where there are no plants, are being watered. It should have had emitters directed at the plants. But they weren’t. Now I have to call someone else in to make this drip irrigation truly water-efficient because Supergreen has ghosted me. Raul, the owner, will never respond. I believe that is mentioned in other comments. My recommendation is to find another company. We wasted $20,000.
I would say what services they preformed but they didn't do anything. They charged me for services and didn't show up or call. I would not recommend them. Search for another company for lawn services. Update from this morning 9/22/22 the crew moved my neighbor's yard across the street. I don't know how my address is marked on the crub and on my house. This is my first experience with this company and it's already miserable.
Fantastic service from helping hawns. Alan came out the same day I phoned to quote for a new fence and the work was completed the following week! Very professional, the team came prompt in the morning and worked all day to finish it. Would highly recommend.
We had Weed warriors round to tackle our privets that were in a mess and overgrown. They responded promptly and had a personal approach. We are so happy with the work they have done. The privets look so neat and tidy. All waste was taken away and the job was completed quickly. Service was professional and very friendly. We will definitely be asking them back again. Spruce Garden Services came and gave our front and back gardens a really good tidy up...Craig came to see the garden first and give us a quote and made some great suggestions as to what could be done. Our garden was looking very overgrown and neglected and Micky and Flynn completely transformed everything making it look so lovely and tidy! They pruned various plants, weeded loads, cut back branches, re potted a plant, cleared all the leaves and moss and did an AMAZING job. Both Flynn and Micky worked so hard all morning, they were super friendly and very knowledgeable too. Our unkempt and untidy garden is looking so clear, tidy and loved again! They took away all the garden trimmings and gave everything a really good sweep at the end. Thank you so so much Flynn and Micky and all at Spruce Garden Services, we were so impressed by everything you did from the initial call from the office, to Craig coming to give us a quote, to Micky and Flynn doing the work and the friendly staff at the office that we spoke to too! Fab teamwork, great service and a super price too! We will definitely use you again and will certainly recommend you to our friends if they are looking for a fabbie gardening service! Paid extra on top of my regular service to have my yards raked and leaves picked up. Twice I paid extra and twice the job was done horribly. They would just blow the leaves into the back corner of my yard or blow them into my flower beds. When I called to complain they said they would send someone out right away to fix the problem but nobody ever showed up, but they did charge my card 110 dollars that same day for a mediocre service. Do yourself a favor and don't use this company it will save you a headache. Pictures were taken right after the service was completed. They called me after I posted this review to have it taken down before coming out and fixing the issue, very unprofessional!
I am two mows in with this company and very upset with the way our lawn looks! I didn’t believe the price was so low and now I see why. The quality of work is poor. The lawn “professionals”(. I’ve used two now, and supposedly a top rated one just left my home) do not do a complete or neat job on lawns. Is bagging the cut grass or cleaning fences and corners something that has to be explained over and over?🤦🏽♀️ I was trying to give my husband a break from doing it this time and they’ve left the property a mess! This is what my lawn looked like after 10 years of this company treating it. Until I switched to TruGreen. They used to have a Gold Standard. Not anymore. I was paying $275. a treatment. After this year's results and last I had to go with another company. Funny thing is when I sent an email with the photos, a manager came out to spot treat. He said you have no where near the 14,000 square footage we are charging you for. I had questioned the sf many of times and they said yes "that's right" I called TruGreen to get an estimate and they said I had 6932 sf .??? So they have been double charging me for 10 years. When I emailed the president of the company along with other managers, guess what "No response" My homeowners association stopped using them and many of my friends and neighbors. The quality and service has went down hill tremendously. Sept.2, 23 The photo I added that is beautiful is after going with TruGreen after 5 months. After almost 10 years of service with Arbor Nomics and they charged us for 14,000 sf then they said we had 8,000 sf Sam told me that was a $20. difference in pricing per treatment. Arbor Nomics refunded $280. You make your own thoughts! We paid Arbor Nomics $270. a treatment, since switching to TruGreen we pay $95. a treatment. TruGreen said we have 7000 sf. and this was the first year we didn't have to fertilize in between their treatments. Make your own mind up. Good company to be away from.

Update: A month has gone by, I filed a claim and waited for Lawnstarter to contact me. They said the quotes I sent were not valid as the companies I contacted did not itemize their quotes. This was not communicated to me initially. They also told me that they are not responsible for lawn damage. At this point its on me to contact the companies again, ask them to come out to get new estimates that are itemized all for the eventuality ruling that its probably not something that will be covered as they mentioned that they are not responsible for lawn damage. Cutting my losses and looking into more reputable companies at this point I have wasted over 18 hours of time. I've asked for my account to be cancelled and as of 1/24 that has not yet happened. If I get charged I will post back an update here. Beware. The absolute worst. Tons of lawn damage. Tried to pause for the winter and crew, after crew, showed up and each time they ripped more of my grass out of the lawn. Who mows lawns in December. Just insane. Trying to deal with the damage caused and they still continue to send more lawn mowing crews despite the attempts to pause my service!!

This company is absolutely horrible!! I booked a lawn treatment service and no one ever came out but my card was charged for full service. I reached out to customer service and told them that I have video footage of no one coming out and I have locks on my back yard gate which makes it impossible for anyone to get to the backyard without the code. Customer service took 3 days to refund me half of the amount that was charged on my card! For a service that was never completed!
