Christy Webber put in a retaining wall on our school playground to keep dirt/mud from sliding down the hill onto the play area. The wall is fantastic & makes the whole area safe & clean & gives the playground a finished look. Plus the kids love to walk across the wall like a balance beam! Christy & Ben were awesome to work with & completed the job in less than 2 days so it didn't impact school activities. I highly recommend Christy Webber Landscaping!
I can’t write enough good things about Connor and Hawkeye Landscaping! Connor came to the house and we walked the back and front discussing what I would like done with the Landscaping. Connor was very attentive to what I wanted and also made very good recommendations and options for me. I would consider what we had done a major landscaping project that included removing two large trees that were damaging the driveway because of the location. Removing some bushes and replanting bushes, plants and a replacement tree. Hawkeye also installed a new irrigation system, new landscape lighting, a courtyard pergola, a backyard pergola, and constructed a built in grill from ground up that included a drawer, a door and ran the gas line and electrical to it. There wasn’t anything I asked for that Connor couldn’t do. It’s obvious that Hawkeye Landscaping has very skilled landscapers who took their time and did above and beyond just a good job. If I could give Hawkeye Landscaping more than 5 stars, I most definitely would! I highly recommend calling them for any Landscaping project you have! 👍😁
I am very disappointed with Tiger Lily Landscape. We signed a contract with Tiger Lily for our backyard and front yard landscaping. Backyard is done as contract indicated and we paid in full. Just to give you an idea, We had 8 of the 12 ft Carpinus betulus "Fastigiata" and 7 of the Hydrangea "Abetwo"(3g) planted to our backyard by Tiger Lily. We paid $8,163.90. We paid in full since it was done properly as our signed contract indicated. We wanted 24" boxwoods planted for our front yard and we signed a contract indicating the size. Size of the boxwoods they planted ranged 12-20'' maximum. They planted a total of 20 boxwoods which none of those were 24'' as indicated in the contact. The reason we wanted 24'' was due to our tall fence and it being a slow growing plant. We kindly asked Sareena who is the owner of Tiger Lily to replace them with the right size boxwood. She sent a message with this exact wording" The Boxwoods are the largest we could find. We were told that they were as close to 24", which means from the beginning she knew they were not the right size. She offered to take them back. I found the right size boxwoods and I am not a landscaper. My husband kindly asked her when they remove the wrong size plants if they can they plant the right size plants? She said they can but we have to pay extra. We were nice enough to take the task and correct her mistake. Instead of to thank us, she asked more money for labor. We refused to pay extra. Then we offered to pay less for the smaller plants already planted if she honored the same price we found for bigger plants we wanted as contract indicated. They were 24''-30'' tall for a lot less. She said No again. We could not come to an agreement although my husband and I tried very hard. She asked 3,337.53 for just the front yard clean up, soil amendments, and metal edging (after she removed the plants). I offered to pay labor for the work done and replace everything she used if she gave me a list.She said No again. Then I asked her please give me the breakdown of $3,337.50 we are paying for our empty yard. She did not do that either. She said it is in our contract.Then we received this message from her that said, " Given the aforementioned photographic documentation of the work performed, please contact me within 72 hours to pick up a cashier's check. Should I not hear back from you/or should you choose not to accept the modified amount, Tiger Lily landscapes reserves the right to bill you work done this week (pictures below) outside of the scope of the original contract, and engage legal and or collection services if necessary", even if we have all the evidence to prove she did not provide us the right size plants she indicated on the contract. My husband and I did not want to deal with this nonsense. We already had enough frustration, disappointment and stress. We paid what she requested in the end, because sometimes the money isn't worth the headache of dealing with people who don't understand the work that they do.
Its been awhile since Ive been back here. Brought my husband here and fell in love with all the new beautiful plants. Jessica was amazing as soon as we walked in she assisted us and answered questions quickly. She helped us find what we were looking for. Very kind and welcoming. Sorry we came 30 minutes before closing.... but we will definitely return. Loved the pig plaque 🐖.
One their main landscaping person had come to understand our requirements. We discussed and outline what we were looking for. He mentioned he will share pictures of their work ( as the website did not have what we were looking for). This discussion happened 1 month ago and we never received any follow up pics / texts.
It was a terrible experience dealing Mike and his inexperienced labor. In the end I didn't get what I asked for and he doesn't care. Theres a shot of how they left the edge along the concrete, I cleaned it up. Left all my rock landscape with manure and dirt. Large are I fixed where they covered a sprinkler. When my partner and I bought our home in Noe Valley a year ago, one of the selling points was the extraordinary garden. While the garden was breathtakingly beautiful, the previous owner who had designed, installed, and cared for it was a professional landscape designer--and he had included over 200 varieties of plants we had no idea how to care for. Not wanting to destroy it, we called Janet Moyer Landscaping to maintain our garden on an ongoing basis. In addition to recommending and installiing a GPS-guided automatic irrigation system (so we never have to think about watering), Janet Moyer has since been responsible for total maintenance of our garden, including planting, pruning, feeding, shaping, maintaining lighting and irrigation, etc. Caleb is the lead landscaper who cares for our garden. He is a really smart, hardworking, and conscientious guy who is very thoughtful about how he spends his time on each visit, focusing on the most value-added activities. He is an excellent communicator, checking in with us before each visit to understand any special needs since his last visit and align on where he should focus. He always follows up with a brief written progress report after his visit, detailing what work he did, why, and the general condition of things. We really trust Caleb's expertise and judgment, and everything he has advised us about regarding our plants has been spot on. We really appreciate the team's follow up and attention to detail and their flexibility and openness to our ideas and preferences. If you have a great garden and would like to protect your investment, I would recommend Janet Moyer Landscaping. Eric
I had a great time working with the team at Flores Artscape on a project to put hedges at my house. From start to finish, the customer service and quality of work was top notch. Carlos and his crew did an excellent job installing the trees and they look amazing. Then, when I decided after the fact that I also wanted to put in an irrigation system, everyone was super accommodating, even moving up the installation date at my request so it could be completed before I had to leave for vacation. And in the time since the project was finished more than a month ago, I sometimes text Nancy with questions about the trees and she is always quick to get back to me with very helpful answers. I would absolutely recommend Flores to anyone in LA with landscaping needs.
The Rainforest LA crew helped us to transform our backyard a few weeks ago. They added hedging with drip irrigation all around our yard, dug up a lot of concrete and ripped out our builder-grade synthetic grass to replace with nice plush synthetic grass, and built a fence and two raised beds for fruits and vegetables. This was all done in less than a week. Yosi and his team were super responsive, professional, and never pushy. We've had a lot of construction projects of various sizes with a lot of different contractors and handymen, and this was easily the smoothest project I've ever had to deal with. Highly recommended!

We had a general idea of what we wanted and needed to refresh and improve our yard, but we did not have enough knowledge of our options to settle on details and materials. Troy listened to what we wanted and needed, and made appropriate suggestions regarding the details such as the right stone, turf, and lighting for our goals. We ended up with both what we wanted and needed. The crew was helpful and communicated well, including the staff that called in the evening to let us know the plan for the next day. It's been a few months since the job was completed, and we have received compliments from everyone who has seen the yard.
Alex is absolutely wonderful! He very graciously gave us some feedback (at no cost) on work done by a different landscaper who has become unresponsive. I was so impressed by Alex's knowledge, straight-forwardness, and willingness to help us. He genuinely cares about a job well done. My only regret is not having found him sooner - we would have saved ourselves an immense amount of frustration and ultimately saved money. We will certainly hire him for future projects.
We had Cityscape out last November to help winterize our yard and install some river rock along the side of our house. Ed came out and explained everything very thoroughly and the work was able to be performed very quickly without us needing to be home. We were very happy with the entire Cityscape experience and would certainly recommend them and use them for future landscaping needs.

Been over 1 year now to do a pretty simple pool remodel and add a coupe of gates and a small section of fence to our project. Our project manager left the company and we have been trying to get some warranty issues resolved for over 3 months now and I can’t even get as much as a simple email or phone call from them. I’ll be posting pictures of the before and after from the remodel and I promise it looked 100% better before they did their work. I’ve tried to be patient and I’ve been more than professional in my approach but evidently they don’t care. I’m hesitant to write a review but when a company doesn’t have the common courtesy to simply email me or make a call I tend to assume they have zero integrity. I was raised in a way that you are only as good as your word. Evidently Complete Landsculpture is totally lacking in that area. If you ever get a quote from them I’d highly recommend you run and not walk away. They are the epitome of over promise and under deliver.
We engaged Hogue Landscaping do all new landscaping at our home and we cannot recommend them enough! They really tailor their services to what the customer needs - for us this was all encompassing from design, soil assessments, install, and maintenance. A couple of years ago we wanted to do this project after ~10 years at our home. We wanted to revamp our landscaping and hired what we thought was a good end to end company. Long story short it was a complete disaster and despite spending a significant amount of money, we were very unhappy with the results. Since then, we have really struggled to find a company that we felt comfortable with and trusted enough to try again. Thankfully, we connected with Hogue Landscaping Services. After reaching out, we started consulting with them on our landscaping needs, challenges, priorities, etc. They helped us with services like testing and analyzing soil to treat trees that were struggling which showed they had a comprehensive approach. It was evident from the start that they wanted to give us a wonderful experience this time and were interested and motivated in us getting a good result for our investment. We engaged with their landscape designer who was amazing! They drew up the design and showed where they could move and re-use existing plants/trees and where they would add (this helped manage our additional investment cost). We were impressed as well with their plant selections which had a nice balance of evergreens, perennials, and annuals to ensure our home would look good in every season. They also picked plants aligned with the new weather realities around the area - much colder snaps so although we are in zone 9b, they have been adjusting selections to be zone 8 tolerant. The deep expertise and caring for their client's priorities was very evident here! Next on scheduling and install, Hogue was amazing at communications and transitioning from Design into install. The designer briefed the project manager and walked through everything to ensure it was executed as planned. The designer carefully selected the best plant materials while the day-to-day project manager was on site each day to manage issues and/or just ensure we were updated on progress. Any small issue was addressed ASAP. We were extremely impressed that the completed the job ahead of schedule and very quickly with little/no disruption. Again, this was the opposite of our prior experience! Finally, as we completed the install and moved into maintenance, the communication again was key. Hogue ensured that the Designer and Project Manager walked through with the maintenance manager to give specifics on how things should be pruned/left to grow, etc. The care taken to ensure we got the outcome that we wanted was clear and we are so appreciative!
Highly recommend—stop searching and reach out to this team! We had a fantastic experience with Dan, Seth, and the whole crew. They helped us bring a vision of a new walkway + colorful, naturalist beds to life. The communication from everyone involved was so thorough and helpful. Things were on time (even with some rain delays) and exactly as described. The end product is already better than we imagined and it’s only going to get better as the plants mature. The crew left everything clean and set us up for success with maintenance. Wonderful customer service from start to finish and really beautiful and creative work.
Absolutely fantastic! We needed a way to stop water running underneath a poorly designed automatic door threshold into our Property. Abel Landscapes came up for a site-visit and advised on the best, affordable and wheelchair friendly drainage channel, making sure the water runs off down the street rather than into our building. A time amd date convenient to us was agreed. When the workmen came I was very impressed to witness a throrough and professional pre-job brief -all too often have I had it happen that after everything was agreed on site-visit, then the workmen turn up and ask "so what needs doing here?" not having been briefed about the job at all- not so with Abel Landscapes: they were briefed not only with everything that was agreed on during site visit but also the technical aspects and details of execution of the job. It was a joy to hear a proper job brief. Then the work itself was carried out swiftly and extraordinarily neatly. The finished job looks so good and un-intrusive I had to point out to staff that it's already been done and they were impressed how well it fitted with the look of the front of our building. Most importantly though: it works! The drainage channel keeps the water away from our building and we can finally replace the sodden moss-ridden carpet. Thank you Abel Landscapes! 5 stars all round from communication over design to execution -oh, and reasonable price - I cannot recommend them enough! I would use them again in a heartbeat.

We have the garden we dreamed about, it’s low maintenance so we can enjoy it more. We love being in the jacuzzi under the pergola looking at view and stars. The pooch grass is really easy to maintain. The porcelain tile colour was not what we originally chose, thank god Jake advised us and a better colour was chosen. Henry Payne, Operations Manager/Design Build, and his designer worked with us to get back on track--they moved quickly and efficiently to get the work completed. Cutberto and Neri, the project managers, did an impeccable job with the installation. The plant materials that were selected from the nursery were gorgeous and our yard looks spectacular. These guys were out here on a regular basis checking the irrigation settings and the plant growth. Their written estimates are professional and detailed. Ideal carried out two jobs for me: The first was to lay slabs in my back garden and erect a greenhouse a few day later. The second, as a follow up, was to relay my lawn. Armstrong Gardens replaced our old wooden deck with a fabulous Millboard composite deck with a surrounding cedar screen. The team were polite, hard working and completely reliable. We knew there was a problem with rotten wood at the house/ decking threshold but when Armstrongs removed the old deck, the problem was worse than we had originally thought. The team came up with a solution to install a waterproof barrier with a zinc flashing which is not only is waterproof but also has been completed so neatly, it looks like a feature. My backyard kept collecting pools of water every time it rained and took ages to dry out, making it unusable most of the time. Bianco's installed a French drain and laid new sod last month. Since then, we've had a ton of rain but not a single puddle. The project completely transformed our yard. Covid slowed down the start date of the project, the way every home project goes these days but I can't say the owner is tough to get in touch with by any means. And once they got started, we were in contact probably at least once a day. The owner, Andrew, definitely knows what he's doing and the guys who carried out the project were extremely hard-working and professional. This wasn't an easy job for them because we had some unexpected issues pop up but Andrew was always prepared with a backup plan. He explained what was going to happen along the way and we didn't have to sacrifice what we wanted. **Follow-up: Almost a year later and our yard is still ready to go for parties no matter how much rain we get. My only regret with my review (because I was so thrilled with how the yard turned out) is that I forgot to mention what a beautiful job they did planting flowers and shrubs in front of our house. Our front yard didn't feel finished yet so yesterday Bianco's planted flowers and shrubs along our walkway. We couldn't be happier with how it looks. Andrew is still easy to get in touch with, still is ready with Plan A, B and C and his employees still do a phenomenal job.

Responsible for managing an industrial estate in Stratford. Instructed Garden At Home Ltd based upon reviews off Google. Wanted to use a local company. Contacted Konstantin earlier in the week who arranged to visit the same day. Discussed requirements over the telephone but essentially the grounds maintenance of an industrial estate yard which had become overgrown with weeds, strewn with rubbish and waste. Price agreed and arranged to attend the following day. Work carried out to a very high standard and extremely pleased. Recommend and will definitely use the company again. Thank you. We used The Garden Builders for our significant landscaping job in 2022 and could not be more thrilled with the result. We had our garden designed (rough drawings only, no technical info) elsewhere but implemented by the Garden builders. Ricky ran the project for us with his foreman Elenko with the utmost professionalism. The work was incredibly messy – digging up a 20m x 15m garden in central London which they had to take through the house (no side entrance). The disturbance to us was minimal and they kept everything very clean considering the traffic through the house. They built the kitchen area from scratch with built in cupboards and a beautiful shed also. Other skilful aspects of the work included gas fitted fire bowl and sinking of a hot tub whilst maintaining access to it, as well as a full irrigation system. Any time a problem came up Ricky and his team were ever helpful and produced innovative solutions that did not compromise on the design of the build. Furthermore, they helped us with the planting and managed to convince me to go for more seasonality in the plants whilst still providing screening / privacy for us. This advise was invaluable and we really do enjoy seeing the garden change with the seasons. It’s been nearly a whole year since the garden was completed and we are still in love with it. Since the build I have found the team incredibly responsive and helpful if any snagging or problems have arisen. Overall, I cannot recommend the garden builders highly enough.
