Mondo's customer reviews analysis

The reputation of Mondo appears to be mixed based on the customer reviews provided. On one hand, there are clients who speak very highly of the professionalism, efficiency, and personalized support provided by the Mondo team. Particular praise is directed towards individual recruiters like Jason Weinstein and Shaylyn Jaworows, who are commended for their dedication to matching candidates with suitable job opportunities and for displaying genuine care in their communications. These positive experiences suggest that Mondo has the potential to offer a streamlined and successful job placement process. On the other hand, there is a concerning number of negative reviews highlighting severe unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and even deceptive practices. Issues raised include a fraught working environment for Mondo's own staff, high-pressure tactics, and a disconnect between initial promises and actual outcomes. In one instance, a client experienced last-minute interview changes and a subsequent revocation of an employment offer. The presence of an alert about attempts to inflate reviews on a site like Glassdoor raises credibility concerns and reflects poorly on the company's practices.

Positive Feedback

The favorable aspects of feedback for Mondo center around the performance and professional conduct of its recruiters. Clients describe experiences with recruiters such as Jason Weinstein and Shaylyn Jaworows as highly positive, citing their prompt communication, professional attitude, and helpfulness throughout the recruitment process. Success stories include quick and appropriate job placements, effective interview preparation, and insightful career advice. Recruiters appear attentive and proactive in addressing the needs and questions of candidates, fostering a confidence in Mondo's abilities to assist with career aspirations. This reflects a capacity for high-caliber service delivery when Mondo operates effectively.

Concerns and Threads

Negative customer feedback for Mondo indicates several critical issues. First and foremost, there are significant concerns regarding professionalism and transparency within the company. Clients report experiences of miscommunication, pressure from managers on recruiters, and inconsistency in the job placement process – including a failure to respond to job inquiries and a lack of follow-through on initial engagements. Disturbingly, one review suggests that an employment offer was rescinded following the imposition of unexpected additional interviews. Furthermore, there are allegations of inflated reviews and unethical behavior which, if true, severely damage Mondo's credibility. Such issues can cultivate a sense of distrust and reluctance among potential candidates and clients to use Mondo's services.

Frequently asked questions about Mondo

Can I trust the recruitment process at Mondo?

Based on the reviews, experiences with Mondo's recruitment process can vary greatly. While some candidates report successful job placements with professional guidance from recruiters, others have faced challenges such as miscommunication and unexpected process changes. Prospective clients should exercise due diligence and possibly seek out multiple sources of feedback before engaging with Mondo.

Are recruiters at Mondo responsive to communication from candidates?

The responsiveness of Mondo's recruiters appears to be inconsistent. Some reviewers praise individual recruiters for their prompt and helpful communication, while others complain about repeated unresponsiveness and a lack of follow-up on job inquiries. It may be beneficial for prospects to directly contact the recruiters mentioned in positive reviews for a potentially better experience.

Does Mondo offer support throughout the entire job placement process?

Many positive reviews acknowledge that Mondo provides comprehensive support during the job search, interview preparation, and onboarding process. However, there are accounts of support falling short, particularly when job offers are rescinded or when additional hurdles are presented unexpectedly. Candidates considering Mondo should clarify the level of support they can expect throughout their engagement.

Three words: sham staffing firm. Mondo has offered me the worst experience among all of the recruiting engagements I have been involved in. Having worked over a dozen contracts, I say that with gravity and full intent. Candidates: your involvement may start out with promise and hope. The staff at Mondo is cordial. However, any and all gains will come with a long term detrimental cost that will not be offset with reward. Melissa Falbo recruited me for a cybersecurity position located in New Jersey. She was both amicable and professional. However, there were alarming issue which prevailed. Foremost, I sensed she was under fierce pressure from her manger Chris Thorn. Melissa told me over the phone that Christopher Thorn repeatedly insisted she contact me regarding our targeted engagement – and she said as much without losing any degree of professional composure. Though her words were neutral, her tone spoke of a situation that had become unbearable on her psyche. At the top of the Mondo Glassdoor page there is a red banner that reads, “Glassdoor Alert: Attempt to Inflate Reviews.” As the title of one Glassdoor review reads, “MONDO NEEDS TO GET SHUT DOWN!! PEOPLE'S LIVES ARE BEING RUINED!!!” This is a verbatim copy and paste from Glassdoor and this review was left on February 21, 2023. A person has to wonder, if the service at Mondo is good, what is the expense of that in terms of how their workers are affected? Judging from my perceived panic when speaking to Melissa, the expense and toll on human labor is immense. Melissa persisted in convincing me to attend to the interview despite my reservations. The client was reluctant to proceed so I sent a convincing “thank you” email in efforts to better their interest. At any rate, Cheng requested a third impromptu chat, following the first two interviews. My impression was that the team simply wanted to get to know me. I expressed hesitation and alarm, given a formal contract had been signed and a set rate was stipulated. Signed, sealed, and delivered – not quite. Leading up to that third meeting, I had already ordered everything for my first day on site – new business attire, mapped directions to the job site. I was nervous though eager, typical of any candidate on the verge of starting a position. Cheng used the word “interview” in the morning in reference to the meeting that would take place that same afternoon. This was an interview I was hardly prepared for as Melissa had insisted repeatedly that it would be no interview – the talk would be a routine meeting, she reiterated. After all, a contract had been signed. I indicated as much to Cheng and she immediately became flustered. She moved quickly with a phone call to Thorn. Thorn gave an explanation after Cheng got off the phone – and his narrative did not add up. He explained that Peraton Labs changed their hiring process the same week of my interview and now requires three interviews as opposed to the standard two which they had been conducting for some time before then. Peraton Labs rescinded their offer. Discord broke out as expected. When I followed up with questions and inquiries, tension increased even further. I received an mail from Joshua Grill, a Human Resources Business Partner with Peraton Labs. Grill sent me a demand letter ordering me to cease contact with parties – and the odd thing is he came off more like a mob boss. It’s as though he’s fixer who breaks kneecaps – more so than an HR professional. I feel bad for Melissa. If the Glassdoor reviews are accurate, Melissa is doing Chris’s work for him and there is a lot of chatter which speaks to the idea that this company is more or less a glorified pyramid scheme. Does a person really need to say: avoid Mondo? These are my opinions – and are not claims of fact in the same way that a person may render content from a news source or media outlet. As opposed to facts, opinions contain conjectures and are swayed by human emotion or bias. Avoid Mondo so that these opinions do not become your own.

Does anyone in this organization ever respond back? I was interested in a job but no one seems to respond back. At least have an OOO message if you are on vacation. I get flooded by multiple people for the same job, different salary ranges as well. I don't know how they are in business.

My experience working with the team at Mondo was truly refreshing. Their service was prompt, precise, and personalized, making my job search journey much smoother. As someone navigating the complex systems of large corporations to find a new role, the process can be overwhelming. Throughout the process, Mondo provided invaluable support, ultimately playing a pivotal role in helping me land my dream job. I wholeheartedly recommend their services without any hesitation to anyone looking to take the next step in their career.
