This has been my dentist for a number of years now and I think it’s great. The staff are warm and friendly, always very helpful and engage well with their patients. At my last visit, I signed up to their monthly dental plan. I would’ve liked a little bit more clarity in terms of the logistics of the plan, how family discounts work and a couple of other things before signing, as I had to phone again to clarify at a later date. That said, I would thoroughly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist, and the treatment I’ve received there has been top-notch.
I was referred to BPI by my dentist for a complex root canal treatment. I must admit I was extremely anxious but with hindsight had no need to be as I was well looked after by all the staff who looked after me. As for Dr Singh who carried out the treatment I have nothing but praise for him, he explained the treatment and gave me plenty of opportunities to ask questions. The treatment itself was carried out in a professional and calming way and afterwards I felt quite relaxed about the whole experience. I found this to be a professional and friendly practice and would recommend it.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Raj Shah at Acorns Dental Practice for Periodontal treatment and three fillings, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Having been extremely nervous and anxious due to my swollen and bleeding gums, Dr. Raj's expertise and professionalism immediately put me at ease. Not only did he thoroughly explain the treatment process to me but he also took the time to address all of my concerns and answer every question I had without ever making me feel rushed. Dr. Raj's dedication to his profession and his patients is truly remarkable. His knowledge and attention to detail are evident in the exceptional results I have achieved. My gums have significantly improved, and the bleeding has completely subsided. It is clear that he not only possesses the technical skills required but also has a true passion for providing the highest level of care. Thank you Fraser Hendrie and Nadir Khan for my Top Jaw implants! Nadir for his excellent success in finding a robust placement for my 4 implants, not an easy task given my age and gum condition, and Fraser for his tireless extensive efforts to create my top Jaw Bridge. I approached Craigentinny Dental Care to investigate the possibility of providing me with full Top Jaw implants (All-on-4 Implants) with great trepidation, not least due to the significant financial cost of such a decision. From the first appointment for a scan Fraser inspired confidence which grew over the coming months with his exceptional and approachable manner. Through our many discussions on dentistry and exceptional detail of my choices along the journey, it was clear that Fraser had a desire to constantly strive for perfection and to provide a comprehensive offering at Craigentinny Dental Care in line with “best current practice” in the dentistry field. Along with his very person-centred approach, it was abundantly clear that I had made the right decision! Fraser’s attitude and aptitude is reflected throughout the team and I thank the entire team, from my regular Dentist, Jennifer Patterson, along with all the Dental Nurses, Hygienists and reception team, -too many to name individually but you know who you are- for making this a pleasant journey (yes- actually was!). I can now eat normally - and as a bonus, smile - with confidence, which has been missing in my life for at least 10 years. I came to Tammy firstly to get a consultation, I had been to a couple other places too, but this was the only meeting I had where I didn’t feel pressured into other treatments. I had expressed that I wanted to keep costs down & wasn’t prepared to commit to Invisalign and Tammy straight away took this on board. She was open about all treatment routes I could go down but the main thing is I wasn’t pushed into anything or felt I was being sold something! Again this was the same when I met Dr Umair, I knew my teeth could benefit from straightening but he heard what I wanted and focused my treatment plan on that. I ended up with whitening, a small bit of gum contouring and composite bonding. Dr Umair comes across really professional and knows exactly what he’s doing so you know your teeth are in good hands. During all my appointments his calm nature kept me calm, I’m not a nervous patient but it had been a while so I was apprehensive! Grainne is also so friendly and super calming, she’d have a nice wee chat with me before & after which calmed my nerves. What a team! I also had the fear to get my impressions for my guard/whitening tray which I told Dr Umair about, somehow he made this feel like nothing and kept me relaxed. My results speak for themselves too, compared to what you can get done to your teeth I didn’t get too much done but it’s an unreal transformation. I wanted my teeth to look more uniform and get rid of the gaps I had, whilst still looking natural and got exactly that. I absolutely love the work that’s been done to my teeth - my confidence in my smile is so much better now!
G1 Dental has always been fantastic to me. I registered with them when they opened in 2013 and even though I no longer work in Glasgow I am happy to make the journey to the practice as I wouldn't consider going elsewhere. The staff on reception always give a warm and friendly greeting. I have recently had x-rays and a filling done and Dr Sloan put me at ease, kept me informed and gave me various options which I really appreciate. Dr Sloan and his dental nurse were very friendly, professional and I trusted them completely. When carrying out the treatment they made sure that I was comfortable and not in any discomfort throughout the process. Rung up Sunday morning @10am for emergency appointment, fitted in same day for time to suit me. Greeted by smiling receptionists which are unfortunately rare these days. Waited 40 minutes after appointment time which is relatively normal lately for any emergency. I understand others are in similar position as me where treatment time differs. I saw a lady called Sophia who was extremely thorough in explaining all my options- even helping to get me out of pain then & option to go to my own dentist for further investigation. This showed she didn't have pound signs in her eyes but genuine empathy towards my care. All fees explained up front. The assistant in the room was also polite & tentative. I decided on tooth extraction after suffering 1 long painful year of waiting appointments/investigations. Made me comfortable where i felt nothing, wisdom tooth came out in 1 with no gum being cut/sewn which I'm so grateful for. 100% recommend this practice for emergency treatment, where I'm considering making it my routine dentist travelling from Wolverhampton. Open 7 days until 11pm, no more fighting for core appointment times.
Had the best experience at the dental house! Dr Darren took the time to chat to me before my examination after learning I have a lot of dental anxiety and he explained everything (including on risk) in a lot of detail but in a calming, friendly manner and environment. I couldn’t recommend him enough. He proceeded to do my treatment with precision and I’m really happy with the results. The rest of the team were also lovely and friendly. Genuinely think I’m looking forward to my next check up which is something I’ve never experienced before? 10/10
Seen YDS for some years on insta but had the please of popping in today for a consultation. Amazing place, clean and modern, very friendly and personable staff, reception girls were welcoming and down to earth. All dressed very smart and looked the part! Dr Sia was my dentist today… explained everything to me without complicating things, gave me options and went out of his way and was super helpful… also he was so so funny! He had me and my wife howling throughout the appointment. 10/10 for today visit! 👍🏾

I wanted so bad to stay at the office. Dr. Lawton is nice and has a good bedside manner. It's the staff that needs work. I had been going there for about a year and all of a sudden I go in and Dr. Lawton says I need all these fillings (I only saw Dr. Lawton on my initial visit. My cleanings and subsequently x-rays were done by other staff and hygienists). So I start getting fillings but had a slight break between fillings and when I go back in Dr. Lawton immediately reads an older x-ray and says you need a root canal! Like how did the staff not know this????? Dr. Lawton gives me a referral to Endodontics to verify that I need the root canal. That doctor calls and leaves a message so they can collaborate on my care plan but 2 weeks later there has been no contact from Dr. Lawton's office. I think his practice is too big for him to be the only doctor there. He also needs to get better staff in place. My friend who referred me to this office had a bad experience as well but didn't give as many chances as I did. I'm so sad to have to leave this review but I hope he sees it and makes the necessary changes.

Absolutely amazing experience. I was skeptical because I received a cold call, coincidentally while smoking a cigar and drinking coffee. (Wish I remembered that man’s name because this was hands down the best dentistry I EVER visited). From the fantastic hospitality from the ladies up front, to the individual TV, to the great reception from the T.C Brianna along with her work with the insurance and billing. Then another gentlemen I wish I got the name of, a small Asian dude possibly named Tang?*, sorry but he was super efficient and precise with all the X-Rays, I was blown away. Then this stud of an Albanian, Doctor Tinaj. The man knows his stuff, highly recommended. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, they saved the best for last. Sam the hygienist gave me THE BEST cleaning I’ve ever received, and so gentle. I really can’t wait for my wife to pay her a visit, and so can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m pumped for my next visit. The free whitening still seems to good to believe, but these folk have. It let me down yet. Absolutely phenomenal service, hats off to you folk. They have a customer for life. Thank you so much 🙏
