Pacifico Ford's customer reviews analysis

Analyzing the recent customer reviews of Pacifico Ford reveals a mixed overall company reputation with varying experiences regarding their service quality and customer care. While some incidents reflect poor handling, specifically in the body shop department where a customer's vehicle was significantly damaged during a logo replacement, the company's response to rectify the situation, including refunding labor costs and repairing the damage, indicates a willingness to address customer grievances and ensure satisfaction. Another account of questionable sales tactics concerning vehicle trade-in valuations could tarnish the dealership's reputation for transparency. However, numerous other reviews highlight instances of outstanding customer service, with several customers applauding specific employees for their assistance, transparency, and courteous attitude, suggesting an element of inconsistency in the customer experience.

Positive Feedback

Pacifico Ford has gathered substantial positive feedback from customers who were pleased with the overall purchasing experience and the exceptional service provided by specific staff members. Customers have cited examples such as receiving generous gifts like a TV and an Apple Watch as rewards during their car-buying process, which adds a pleasant surprise and increases overall satisfaction. Sales representatives were often lauded for their transparency, detailed explanations, and support in finding the right automobiles. The service department receives praise for prompt, efficient work, and for providing video updates of performed maintenance, highlighting a commitment to convenience and innovative customer engagement. This positive subset of feedback suggests that Pacifico Ford creates memorable and rewarding experiences for many of its customers, which can contribute favorably to word-of-mouth reputation and repeat business.

Concerns and Threads

The negative aspects of customer feedback for Pacifico Ford largely center around experiences of miscommunication and subpar service in a few areas. Issues such as damage during simple customizations, which require significant repairs and paintwork, undermine customer confidence in the technical expertise within the body shop. In another case, the use of alleged deceptive practices by the sales staff to undervalue a trade-in vehicle signals potential concerns with ethical sales approaches. Additional complaints relate to long waits and inadequate updates during service appointments, as well as improper handling of vehicles leading to cosmetic damage. These aspects indicate a need for improved communication, greater adherence to technical standards, and an emphasis on ethical sales practices to maintain trust and ensure customer retention.

They did refund me for the labor of putting on the logos and repaired the damage and guarantee the work for the life of the vehicle, looks great. Highly recommend dealing with Terry directly in situations like these. Thanks for making this situation right Pacifico. —— Original posting: I wish I could be writing a better review.. I brought my new all black 2023 Ford Explorer ST Line into Pacifico to have my routine oil change and to patch a nail in my tire (turns out it was in the side wall so I needed a new one). The service folks did a great job, the front office is not the best at communication but overall it was a decent experience Where it all went wrong … I also asked the front office if they could have the body shop put all black Ford logos on my Explorer I had bought online (top quality logos). When I bought my car I originally wanted these but unfortunately Ford does not have this as an option for the model I have. The sales manager told me if I got the logos online the body shop could put them on easily and they had even done it for one of his own vehicles… Fast forward to pick up at 5:45 .. I rush over and my Explorer isn’t in the service lot so one of the sales guys has to drive it around as everyone from the shop was already gone for the day .. As someone who LOVES their new car and keeps it in top shape I immediately go and check out my new logos (again, my vehicle is all black, black rims, pirelli scorpion tries .. this car is NICE).. To my surprise my back Ford logo on the trunk is completely loose, it looks like someone took a screwdriver to the original Ford logo to get it off and in the process scratched, took off paint, and put a GAINT dent trying to get leverage to get the original logo off.. The fact that they allowed this to come out of the body shop without saying anything or noticing is a JOKE and EMBARRASSING. If I compared what they did to a surgery, the doctor would have been sued for malpractice.. I had to tell the service manager who was on site and I still have no idea what the resolution will be .. they will at least need to replace the rear/trunk assembly. Everyone knows that once you replace an assembly or fix something like this it never looks right (I.e paint doesn’t match perfect, things never align perfectly, they try fill it to only have it crack in a few years).. I will be keeping this google review up as I learn more about the resolution.. at this point my car has under 7000 miles and they should just consider replacing it since they maimed it so badly.. I also hope they also refund me for the ~300 dollars they changed me in labor to put them on. I bought the vehicle from Pacifco and this is my second service on my new car and I am extremely disappointed.

Wasn't sure if I wanted to leave a review but decided I should..I have been a loyal Pacifico customer for almost 20 years. I've purchased 8 vehicles from here over the years. I remember when these sales managers were young salesman. But In my most recent visit I went in for a test drive and then they took my truck for a test ride to value my trade in. Upon returning the salesman and the person that test drove my trade in huddled up and then approached me saying my transmission was slipping and pretty much wanted to give me pennies for my trade. I have since taken my truck to 2 Transmission shops and they both agreed my Transmission is fine and that the only reason a dealership would say this was to get over on me and minimize my trade in value. So I feel people should be warned about these new sales tactics from a dealership I used to respect.

Walked in with little expectations because of my fair credit score and walked out with the car we wanted and a 50 Inch TV who won spinning the wheel. Angelo and his manager George were both great with us. We are now a Ford Family and won’t be going anything else.
