Best Nails & Spa's customer reviews analysis

Best Nail Salon and Spa has garnered a range of feedback that indicates a polarizing customer experience. Critical reviews highlight issues such as poor customer service, overcharging, rushed services, and subpar quality of nail work, including the presence of lumps and paint bubbles in nail sets. Customers have reported negative experiences with promotional discounts being initially refused and concerns around post-service irritation and injuries, such as itchy and burned skin after waxing. Conversely, some clients have had positive experiences, praising specific nail technicians for their attention to detail, friendliness, and ability to deliver a desired outcome, particularly regarding nail art and the thoroughness of services. The company's reputation is therefore mixed, with clear indications that while some staff members are providing excellent service, there is room for significant improvement in customer service, pricing transparency, and consistent quality control across all services offered.

Positive Feedback

A subset of customers reported outstanding service at Best Nail Salon and Spa, highlighting their satisfaction with the level of personal attention and detail. Talented nail technicians like Tammy, Daisy, and others were commended for their meticulous work, particularly in the impeccable application of full sets and the execution of complex nail art. Positive elements also extended to friendly and helpful interactions with staff, including nail techs and receptionists known for their courteous demeanor. The salon's environment was noted to be very clean, and the ability to accommodate last-minute appointments was appreciated. Overall, when the experience was positive, customers described receiving services that exceeded their expectations, indicating that the salon has the capability to provide standout nail and spa services.

Concerns and Threads

Negative customer feedback for Best Nail Salon and Spa predominantly centers around several detrimental aspects which tarnish the company's reputation. Gripes include perceived overcharging, particularly related to additional fees for correcting mistakes made by technicians, which suggests a lack of accountability for service quality. The refusal of promotional discounts and subsequent rush jobs points to issues with customer service and satisfaction. There are recurring complaints about the longevity and quality of nail work, such as a broken nail within 48 hours post-service, and the occurrence of physical discomfort, such as itchy and irritated skin, following pedicure treatments and waxing services. Furthermore, instances of insensitive comments by staff members during services, like waxing, not only highlight a lack of professionalism but also insensitivity to customer comfort and emotional well-being. These negative experiences reveal a need for the salon to address inconsistency in service quality and to improve its client-handling protocols.

By far the worst experience ever. It started with the horrible customer service. Then I was charged more money for the person to correct the mistake they made on my nails. The full set looks like it got into a car accident with the amount of lumps in it and also have many paint bubbles. I simply asked for a french tip on my hand and feet( not the deep french tip) and ended with a bill of 155 dollars. How? I also came in during their happy hour. They attempted to refuse the promotion, stating that I didn't check in. Which I did. Causing them to get angry that they had to honor it and continued to rush and make mistakes on my nails. Please don't go here. It's not worth the disappointment. I really wish I've gave them a taste of their own medicine with how rude and unprofessional they were. Also this is what I asked for vs what I got I asked for the color set but he continued to ignore me and painted them white.

Literally left 5 mins ago and it was the worst pedicure of my life. I usually do my own but wanted a basic pedicure to help remove cuticle build-up near my nail beds. The service lasted around 15 mins and I left with dry, cracked nails and dry, peeling skin that wasn’t there before I came in. The skin on my heels are red, itchy and burn. This was after I was convinced to upgrade to the callus remover package for a better experience. Headed home to hopefully wash off whatever this irritation is. I don’t have sensitive skin and never had this type of reaction in my life.

I went in yesterday and I received the best service. The lady who did my pedicure took her time and was very sweet. She painted my whole toe nail which is an issue I've had with other places before. Also, my full set came out PERFECT. Tammy was the best. She took her time and my nails are absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. Thank you for such a great much needed experience.
