Thaikhun's customer reviews analysis

Thaikhun's overall company reputation presents a largely positive picture based on the feedback from recent reviews. The customer experience appears to be largely satisfactory with high praise for the food's flavor, authenticity, and presentation. The cooking class also adds to the company's unique offerings, providing a fun and engaging experience for those new to Thai cuisine. However, there are some minor concerns regarding value for money, particularly pertaining to dish portion sizes relative to the price. Drinks received mixed reactions, suggesting a need for improvement in that area. The attention to customer service is repeatedly highlighted, with staff seen as attentive, welcoming, and capable of catering to various dietary restrictions and needs.

Positive Feedback

Positive feedback for Thaikhun centers on several aspects. The quality and taste of Thai food receive high acclaim, with the overall culinary experience described as authentic and consistently impressive across multiple visits. The ambience of the establishments receives appreciation for its thematic decor that enhances the dining atmosphere, suggesting a commitment to providing an immersive experience. Customer service is praiseworthy, with mentions of staff attentiveness and their adept handling of special dietary requirements, including vegetarian options. The restaurant’s provision of cookery classes and demonstrations appears to be a popular and enjoyable activity. Value for money, particularly for set menu deals and the Pinto Sharing Feast, is noted as reasonable, especially by visitors accustomed to higher prices in locations such as London.

Concerns and Threads

Despite the overwhelming positive sentiment, Thaikhun's feedback does indicate some areas for potential improvement. Some customers find the portion sizes to be insufficient compared to the price, specifically citing an example where a 'sweet and sour chicken' dish, once coupled with separately ordered rice, seemed not filling enough for the cost. While the food quality is lauded, the beverage offerings are described as 'mid', with at least one customer expressing no interest in reordering the drinks. This suggests that while the culinary side of the experience excels, the drink menu may benefit from refinement or better alignment with customer expectations.

The food was great but the portion for the sweet and sour chicken was too small imo, the rice was ordered separately so that dish came out to £17, wasn’t very filling and not worth that price The noodles were great, great flavour great texture, tastes way better than it looks The drinks were mid, wouldn’t order either of them again

The food in Thaikhun was amazing. Very attentive and welcoming staff and quick service. My partner and I shared the pinto meal. It was £37 for both of us and we shared chicken Thai basil stir fry, beef street noodles, Thai red curry and jasmine rice. We also had the 2 for £12 watermelon margaritas. This place is not to be missed!
