You only get a few of these experiences in your lifetime, the ones that really leave a lasting impression. This was one of those times. When I say, the food was incredible, that is not doing it justice. I was blown away at such a high-quality, authentic Chinese food experience in the middle of Dallas. The first thing I have to talk about is their chili oil. This is easily the best chili oil I’ve ever had. Excellent oil, flavor, spicy, and crispy. You must get the Dandan noodles with the noodles. This was voted one of the top 100 dishes in Dallas. The dishes, flavorful, mouth, numbing, and sweet. It is served, but that is such a good way to eat it. I also suggest their soup dumplings. Incredible, so much flavor, and made right in front of you. Any of their noodle dishes are well worth it. You can watch them hand pulling the noodles in front of the bar that is in the center of the restaurant. Finally, I got the salt and pepper tofu, which was really spicy, and had perfectly fried pieces of soft tofu. This was such a great experience and I will absolutely come back here in the future.

So, I gotta tell you about this place called Royal China in Dallas. Our server, Shirley, was absolutely fantastic! She was super friendly and attentive throughout our entire meal. The food was seriously delicious - I mean, we couldn't get enough of it. The flavors were on point and everything was cooked to perfection. Plus, the portions were generous, so we definitely left with happy and full bellies. Overall, I'd say Royal China is definitely a winner. You should totally check it out if you're in the area! Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

I ordered my lunch to go at the register. Friendly staff and it's beautiful inside. My only problem is that I ordered spicy chicken fried rice, but I ended up getting regular chicken fried rice. There is absolutely nothing spicy in my food. Now that I'm already back at home in Mesquite, I had to use the Frank's Red Hot Sauce and put a bunch on my plate. It's ok, but not the same as when they use the peppers. If it had been made correctly, I probably would have marked 4 or maybe 5.
