Visited twice this year and both times very good. Once warm enough to sit outside on the pavement and great to people watch as well as enjoy the food. Another time sitting in a group at the bar which turned out really good as well. Delicious fresh fish and shellfish and good beers and wine. A firm favourite ⭐️

Really incredible food. So fresh, such attention to detail and really great service. This is. A tiny restaurant so make sure you book, the food is so worth it. Amazing flavours, smallish menu, we had sharing plates but you can easily have proper individual meals.

Definitely come here for the Fish & Chips and the lobster. We got the Fish & Chips and the whole lobster grilled in garlic butter for our mains, and I dare say that these two dishes were the best we had ever eaten. The fish is incredibly tender and well-battered, while the lobster is succulent and sweet. We also got the seared scallops with anchovy butter (the butter is really salty but perfect for dipping brown bread in) and the Cullen Skink as our starters (both were good), as well as the broccolini as the obligatory green. All dishes are recommended, but particularly the Fish & Chips and the lobster. Service was fantastic as well, and we felt very welcomed. The only downside to dining here is seating - you either get bar seats or table seats (but the tables are really small). I think bar seats are slightly more comfortable than the table seats, but avoid getting the seats by the door, because you will be hit by a gust of cold air every time someone comes in or leaves. Parking: There is street parking available (free after 6.30pm, but may be difficult to find).
