Three Edinburgh West's customer reviews analysis

Three's overall company reputation reflects a mix of customer experiences that range from highly positive to acutely negative. On the positive side, customers laud the assistance received from specific staff members, noting exceptional service in aiding with phone and internet service setup and problem-solving, such as number porting issues. However, these positive interactions are tempered by significant negative feedback concerning poor signal quality and unsatisfactory customer service. Users report frustration with misleading information about service capabilities, particularly the ineffectiveness of 5G and broadband services, and the inconvenience caused by ineffective resolution processes. Inconsistencies in service recommendations and the imposition of unwanted additional SIM contracts have also caused customer dissatisfaction. The recurrent theme across reviews is a discrepancy between the promised and actual service quality and experience, underpinned by customer service that sometimes struggles to address issues effectively.

Positive Feedback

Among the positive feedback for Three, customers highlight the helpfulness and professionalism of specific staff members, such as Eirinn and Moray in Edinburgh, who exemplify great customer service. The efforts of these employees to assist customers in setting up their services and clarify any product-related questions are highly praised. Additionally, the teamwork and problem-solving capabilities at certain branches, such as the West End branch managed by Harry, have merited recognition for their helpful nature. Moreover, the overall atmosphere in some stores is described as welcoming and pleasant, with staff like David and his teammates noted for their courteous approach and constructive advice on choosing the best plans.

Concerns and Threads

On the negative side, a recurring theme in customer feedback for Three pertains to signal issues with both 5G and 4G broadband services, leading to dissatisfaction among users whose expectations were not met after being assured of service quality. The customer service experience, particularly concerning the handling of complaints and the return or cancellation process, is marked by inefficiency and a lack of resolution. Customers express discontent over being sent from one store to another without a solution, as well as experiencing unhelpful interactions with customer service representatives and management. Additionally, in-store issues such as Sim replacement problems, misinformation leading to unintentional acquisition of multiple SIM cards, and inattentiveness to customer identity verification have been highlighted as significant negative aspects.

Frequently asked questions about Three Edinburgh West

Can I cancel my broadband service if I experience poor connectivity?

I have bought a number with 75GB for one month and staff told me it will work for 5G service. I have got the worse signal so far all over UK and I only use google maps. I could not enjoy my favorite movies during my travels

DO NOT GET YOUR BROADBAND HERE. I experienced horrible customer service. I picked up a broadband 4G box at this location where an employee guaranteed that I would have perfect connection at my postcode. I arrive home and it works terribly, I have tried putting it in multiple rooms and on windowsills but nothing works. I then call the customer service agent who tells me they are changing the connection from 3G to 4G in my area so that is why it does not work well and he can give me an update in a week if it improves. I needed wifi urgently so I could not wait another week and asked him to cancel. He keeps me on the line and redirects me to a colleague who tells me I cannot cancel online but have to do it in store. I was on the phone for half an hour without having resolved anything. I take the box to the store where I bought it and an employee tells me the manager is not in and that I should go to the next store, the next store on 74-5 Princes Street tells me I have to cancel at the store I originally bought the wifi from but wants to send me to yet another store at St. James Quarter, for what reason? All of these employees have been making me go in circles pointlessly and I am very disappointed with the customer service, not once did any of them apologise for the inconvenience, not even once. These useless employees kept reassuring me that I have 30 days to cancel but that does not make up for all of my wasted time. Thanks very much.

Eirinn and Moray are great at their job and are both lovely people, who have helped us multiple times while trying to setup phone and internet services since moving to Edinburgh. Amazing customer service!
