Having done extensive research into which company would provide the best service and detail, i booked a level 3 survey with Marwood. I have to say I was a little disappointed with the whole process. I was asked for my signed form which I'd already sent. The report took a week to get back and I had to chase it. I asked for a call back from the surveyor and he called me on a different day to the one arranged. The survey itself seems okay but it lacks detail eg. it says windows are externally beaded but it doesn't say which ones or how many, and it say insulation is inadequate but doesn't say by how much. Also, the pictures in the report are numbered, but there's no reference point for which issue they are highlighting. This was one of the most expensive survey companies I approached and I expected better service and quality. We are left feeling a bit let down and having to do further investigation work ourselves.

Marwoods produced an extremely detailed level 3 survey report which contained a huge amount of pictures. A lot of other companies just give you loads of text with no pictures to clarify what they are referring to. The survey was very in-depth, checking items I would not have even thought of. Communication with the team before the survey was fantastic. I was provided with the surveyors mobile number for a follow up discussion if needed, however the survey was very detailed and clear so I didn’t feel I needed any further clarification. Please remember that you get what you pay for, and I will definitely be recommending them to all family and friends.

Marwood Surveyors recently completed a Home Buyers Survey for me and I was extremely pleased with it. They booked the appointment directly with the estate agent within one week. This was completed quickly and to an exceptional standard. I was really happy with the level of detail provided within the survey, but also how they provided the opportunity to make an appointment to discuss the survey in more detail if this was required. Overall they provided exceptional customer service and a high quality report. I would recommend the company and will be using them for my future property purchases.
