Fighting Fit Martial Arts And Fitness Centre's customer reviews analysis

Analyzing the customer feedback for Fighting Fit Manchester, the gym's overall reputation appears to be highly positive. The reviews repeatedly highlight the top-tier quality of coaching, the welcoming atmosphere, and the diversity of the training programs, which cater to individuals across all skill levels. A significant number of reviewers express their growth and enjoyment in their chosen martial arts discipline, attributing this to the expert guidance and supportive community present at the facility. These sentiments suggest a strong sense of belonging and positivity within the gym's culture. However, an isolated review presents a stark contrast, detailing an unfortunate experience with perceived unprofessionalism and unsupportive behavior by coaches. While this singular complaint is severe, it does not seem to reflect the overall customer experience conveyed by the majority of the reviews.

Positive Feedback

Positive aspects of customer feedback are both abundant and consistent. Participants commend the quality of instruction, emphasizing the competence and patience of the coaches who are celebrated for their ability to adapt to different levels of experience, from novice to advanced practitioners. Customers feel valued and report visible improvements in their skills and fitness. Another recurring commendation is the inclusive and friendly community atmosphere, which appears to facilitate ongoing motivation and camaraderie among members. The gym's ability to cater to specific niche groups, like 'Fit Mums,' and its quick adaptation to pandemic-related safety measures, also receive applause, demonstrating an effort to offer tailored and safe experiences.

Concerns and Threads

The negative customer feedback centers around one review that paints a much different picture of Fighting Fit Manchester. The complaint is specifically directed at perceived negative attitudes and unprofessional conduct from the coaching staff, which included public criticism and condescension. Additionally, the lack of recognition for personal limits and assistance from peers was also critiqued. This snapshot of a negative experience, while standing in stark contrast to the overwhelming positive feedback, highlights that instances of coach-student dynamics can potentially harm the gym's otherwise stellar reputation and customer satisfaction.

Joining this gym for boxing was one of the best decisions I've made! Starting from zero knowledge, I've grown to absolutely love it over the past two years. The coaches are exceptional, and the classes are both challenging and rewarding. The welcoming atmosphere makes it easy to feel at home and motivated to push yourself. Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to dive into boxing or take their skills to the next level!

The Fit Mums session at Fighting Fit is an absolute treat. It's a small class of 6 mums working on strength training while their babies are looked after right alongside. Kate is a fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable coach. She keeps a sharp eye on form, gives very specific and helpful feedback, and often remembers better than I do what weights I've been using week to week. She's great at modifications for individual people or injuries. I feel stronger and more confident in my post-baby fitness after 6 sessions. The babies play on a mat next to the weights area and are looked after so they can't escape or cause chaos! My son (7mo) is always very happy while I'm working out.

I am giving this place a 1 star based on my experience. It was my first and last time visiting. The coaches seemed to have some sort of superiority complex, and felt offended that someone was tired and squatting down who they decided to call out in front of everyone . When my training partner was assisting me, the coach’s lapdog seemed to have not liked that and claimed ‘you’re not qualified to help him’. I’m unsure if either of these two coaches had a clue what they were doing themselves, because they surely wouldn’t have got very far with a stinking attitude like that! I wouldn’t even join this gym even if it was free, that’s how bad the experience was with these two coaches. Hopefully they’ve quit by now, otherwise the students are doomed (if they have any left). Reply to response: It was definitely the same gym that I attended (Millow street, M4 4DR), im 100% certain. Maybe the second guy wasnt a 'coach' but he was definitely instructing with the head coach. Either way, they were both terrible!
