The Franklin Institute's customer reviews analysis

The Franklin Institute maintains a strong reputation as a family-friendly destination that provides an engaging and educational experience for a wide audience, including both children and adults. Visitors consistently praise the hands-on exhibits, the variety of topics covered (from aviation history to human anatomy), and the interactive nature of the museum. In particular, the LEGO exhibit, planetarium, and live demonstrations have received significant attention and acclaim, often described as fun, engaging, and worth the cost of admission. However, there are some points of contention that slightly tarnish the otherwise glowing reviews, most notably the separate admission cost for the LEGO exhibit, some exhibits not functioning properly, and a desire for a more diverse selection in the cafeteria and more staff to assist visitors. Overall, these issues seem to be the exception rather than the norm, with the general customer experience being overwhelmingly positive.

Positive Feedback

The overall customer feedback for The Franklin Institute is overwhelmingly positive, with numerous outstanding aspects highlighted. Many reviewers express a sense of joy and appreciation for the museum's diverse array of interactive and hands-on exhibits that cater to a broad demographic. The LEGO exhibit, in particular, is consistently lauded for its uniqueness and creative appeal both to children and adults. The live demonstrations and planetarium shows are noted as being exceptional, providing both educational and entertaining experiences. Additionally, the museum's ability to invoke a childlike sense of wonder in visitors of all ages is a recurring compliment, indicating that The Franklin Institute successfully blends learning with play. The nods to cleanliness, specifically regarding the restroom facilities, and the quality of the souvenir shop add to the list of positives. Overall, these attributes contribute significantly to the excellent reputation of The Franklin Institute.

Concerns and Threads

Despite the high praises, The Franklin Institute has some areas that receive criticism from visitors. A prominent concern is the additional cost for special exhibits, such as the LEGO display, which visitors feel should be included in the general admission fee. Furthermore, some visitors encountered exhibits that were not functioning, leading to a slightly diminished experience. Another area that could be improved, according to reviews, is the cafeteria, which customers believe should offer a broader selection of food options. Lastly, there is a call for more staff to be present to assist and guide visitors throughout the museum. While these negative aspects are not predominant within the reviews, they are noteworthy as they offer insights into potential improvements that might enhance the overall visitor experience.

This place was so fun with SO much to see. Perfect for kids and adults of all ages. It has so many interesting exhibits. There is a lot of hands-on stuff to help with learning about the body, space, art, and more, and it was a lot to see. Make sure to make time as you'll spend more than 3 hours here. My big problem was that the Lego Exhibit costs separately from the ticket to the institute itself. It's very expensive.

Specifically went here for the LEGO display. Incredible!! If you like Legos or just appreciate unique art you will love this. It runs until the Fall 2024. There's also a big area at the end for kids (and adults) to build their own creations

Hands down an amazing Museum for adults and families with kids of all ages! The demonstration room with combustion and liquid air were phenomenal. The speakers were well versed and made the experience fun and engaging! I just can speak highly enough for this experience. It was a learning experience and made us feel like kids! If in Philly come to this Museum! It is worth every penny.
