Mdc Freedom Tower's customer reviews analysis

The Freedom Tower at Miami Dade College presents an educational and cultural experience that is generally well-regarded by visitors, according to the provided reviews. Patrons appreciate the historic significance of the site, particularly its exhibition on Cuban immigration history. The establishment's cleanliness and the friendly demeanor of the staff are praised consistently, adding to the positive ambiance. However, there are recurring sentiments of dissatisfaction pertaining to the perceived scarcity of exhibits, specifically a desire for more memorabilia and a more comprehensive presentation related to Cuban refugees. Additionally, visitors lament the restriction of access to the upper levels of the tower, suggesting a missed opportunity for a better visitor experience and an enhanced view of the city. Overall, while the company has a commendable reputation for its contributions to preserving and educating on local history and culture, these criticisms suggest areas for potential enhancement that could elevate the overall customer experience.

Positive Feedback

Visitors have expressed a consolidated appreciation for several aspects of the Freedom Tower at Miami Dade College. One of the most highlighted positive factors is the Tower’s cleanliness, which contributes significantly to the overall experience. The education on Cuban immigration history is found to be informative and pertinent, reflecting Miami's cultural identity. Staff members receive commendation for their welcoming and friendly manner, which is an integral aspect of visitor satisfaction. The blending of history with cultural enrichment through contemporary and Cuban art exhibitions adds diversity to the experiences offered. The venue is likewise celebrated for its suitability for events, with guests extolling its perfect setting for galas and receptions. Additionally, the free entrance and the general affordability of tickets are often mentioned as commendable aspects, making the institution accessible to a wider audience.

Concerns and Threads

Reviews indicate certain critical aspects that could impede the fullest satisfaction of the Freedom Tower visitors. A prominent theme is the feeling of sparsity concerning the Cuban refugee memorabilia, suggesting an unmet expectation for a richer historical narrative. Another point of dissatisfaction is the restriction on accessing the upper levels of the tower, with visitors feeling they are missing out on potentially splendid views and a fuller appreciation of the building's architectural significance. Furthermore, while some find the blending of modern and historical exhibitions a positive, others label the contemporary art on display as strange or misaligned with their expectations, potentially detracting from the more focused historical experience they anticipated. These elements of discontent could highlight areas for the institution to consider when aiming to enhance visitor engagement and education.

I think they should add more memorabilia from the times the Cuban refugees entered the Freedom Tower for their paperwork. The inside of the building is way too empty. I love the cleanliness though. Not worth the money if you pay full priced tickets in my opinion.

Not to be missed! Learn about the Tower's interesting history; very knowledgeable lady at the desk!👍Great presentation of the Cuban immigration history gives you a feel and transparency of the vibe of Miami which is so much Cuban to me. Learn about the waves of children from Cuba who arrived here and see how they had to adapt. The second floor is part modern art and part presentation to raise environmental awareness. Unfortunately the tower is not open to the public! Imagine standing on top and view the city from there! Maybe the city will open the tower in the near future; it would be certainly an asset and magnet for the tourists! Think about it city council!

The building itself is beautiful. I wish visitors were allowed to go to the top. The exhibit about Cuban immigration is interesting but a little bare. I really enjoyed the exhibit about European exploration in the new world. The contemporary art exhibit on the 2nd floor was a little strange.
