Spa Castle's customer reviews analysis

Review analysis indicates that Spa Castle's overall company reputation has seen a mixture of responses, signifying a decline in customer satisfaction post-renovation and reopening. Customers have expressed disappointment over inoperative facilities, lack of cleanliness, and closures of popular amenities such as outdoor pools, with some reporting this was not communicated prior to purchase or visit. Reports of high prices, both for entry and services within, suggest the venue may not align well with budget-conscious visitors. The limited availability of certain amenities and the presence of children, contrary to some visitors' expectations of an adults-only environment, have also negatively impacted the perceived relaxation experience. Nevertheless, positive remarks do highlight cleanliness in certain areas, the quality of staff interaction, and the therapeutic value of saunas and indoor pools when functional, suggesting that the facility still retains some of its original appeal.

Positive Feedback

Positive aspects extracted from customer feedback revolve around several key areas. The staff has been acknowledged for being welcoming and accommodating, contributing to a positive atmosphere upon entry. Cleanliness, primarily noted in indoor areas and on a less crowded Sunday morning visit, has been praised, which is an important aspect for visitors seeking a hygiene-centric relaxation space. The massage services received high commendation, indicating the quality of personal care services offered. Additionally, certain customers appreciated the therapeutic aromas and ambiance of the saunas, and value was noted in the variety of options available, allowing individuals to choose amenities within their budget.

Concerns and Threads

Key negative aspects of customer feedback focus on operational issues and facility management. Many customers lament the closure of popular amenities, such as the outdoor pools and certain saunas, negatively impacting their experience. Lack of communication regarding the unavailability of these features frustrated those who purchased tickets, leading to wasted time and perceived low value for money spent. Cleanliness concerns were raised, with reports of dirty conditions and visible particles in pool water. High prices, particularly of in-spa food and drinks, were frequently mentioned as a detraction, as well as an overcrowded and noisy environment due to the presence of children. Overall, customers expressed a sense of disappointment when comparing their current experiences to previous visits.

Spa Castle was my favorite place. I have been here a few times with my family before the pandemic. Spa Castle has now reopened. I was disappointed with everything. Not only are outdoor swimming pools not open, but most facilities are currently closed. Moreover, there was no one to clean the floor, so it became very dirty. Additionally, there are no hair dryers, shorts, or body lotions. The water in the hot tub is not hot. It looks completely different from the good old Spa Castle. Don't come here thinking about that time. Don't come here. Don't waste $120 per person. I don't know why the prices here are so high.

Spa Castle has definitely changed since the last time I came about eight years ago! Clean, attentive, detailed and variety of options to do. Definitely ideal if you want to relax and destress however; these are my two personal cons. 1: not strictly adults. There are families here with their little ones and it was something out of the norm for me since I usually book adults-only spots. Though the outdoor pool was cool (but to note: many of the jet machines were broken) I stayed away because of the amount of little kids there. Luckily they have spa in the men's locker room which was great! It is geared more towards adults however we did see a kid go inside with his family but security escorted them all out. 2: I understand the cost to attend for a day (I paid around $54 on a Friday) but everything else inside was sky rocketed. If you're trying to relax while being on a budget, please reconsider that the prices inside the spa are not budget friendly at all. A watered down margarita shouldn't be $24. Overall, would definitely go back again!

Overall family friendly (expect to see kids there-for those that does not like kids.) They really emphasize on “NO PDA” 😂 whole bunch of signs around the facility. Went there during the summer. I don’t know how the fall and winter works over there. I wouldn’t recommend for those that are looking for a couple getaway. But they have affordable prices which is nice. Prices were $60 for the weekend and $50 for the weekdays. The drinks were pricy but good overall. They had nice saunas that gives you different types of therapeutic aromas and vibe.
