Sesame Place's customer reviews analysis

The overall customer experience at Sesame Place Philadelphia is largely positive, with guests praising the park's array of attractions such as rides, shows, meet and greets, and parades. The Dine with Elmo & Friends experience receives commendation for its all-you-can-eat buffet and character interactions, despite being noted as expensive. The park is recognized for its cleanliness, orderly management, and inclusivity with sensory areas, despite a lack of gender-neutral bathrooms highlighted by one reviewer. There are some concerns over high food prices and certain service issues. The convenience of online ticket-purchasing and the cashless payment system are appreciated, along with the availability of cash-to-debit card kiosks. Season passes are considered valuable for those who visit multiple times a year. Parking fees, however, come as an unpleasant surprise to some guests, suggesting a need for clearer communication.

Positive Feedback

Guests express overall enjoyment at Sesame Place Philadelphia, particularly highlighting the wholesome entertainment offered by the parades and character meet and greets. Families appreciate the variety of rides suitable for all ages, with mentions of the park being particularly accommodating for young children. The ability to interact with beloved Sesame Street characters is a standout attraction, contributing to the park's festive atmosphere. The initiative to provide sensory areas is also praised, showing consideration for guests with sensory sensitivities. The cleanliness of the park, despite high traffic, and the ease of online ticket purchasing are further lauded aspects, enhancing the overall positive visitor experience.

Concerns and Threads

Despite many positive experiences, Sesame Place Philadelphia faces criticism primarily concerning value and customer service. Guests are taken aback by unexpectedly high parking fees and express discontent with overpriced food options—citing a single instance of fast food for a family costing over $100. There are accounts of unsatisfactory service, particularly at food concessions, with reports of rude staff interactions. Although rare, operational mishaps such as a delay in providing promotional cups point to inefficiencies that affect guest satisfaction. While these are isolated cases within the larger context of guest feedback, they do contribute to some negative perceptions and could impact potential future visitation decisions.

Sesame Place Philadelphia is awsome & I absolutely love coming here throughout the season!! They have something for everyone from rides, shows, meet & greets & the parades which are awesome!!! Dine with Elmo & friends is such an amazing dinning experience!! While it's expensive: I believe it's absolutely worth it especially when it's an all-you can eat buffet plus the characters come see you at your table for close interactions as well put on a great show to entertain the guests & I would definitely recommend it when visiting!!! The meet & greets is wonderful! You're never too big or small for furry hugs & the Sesame Street friends are all spectacular!!! Lastly the Sesame Street parades: they're spectacular especially when the music is upbeat, fun & all your favorite Sesame Street friends come down the street spreading joy, fun & laughter to everyone!!

An amazing experience! Who doesn't love Sesame Street! It was orderly and super clean. Even though it's "off season" right now, there's still so much to see and do. Buying tickets on- line is a breeze. The park is Cashless so bring a card. You can also convert your cash to a temporary debit card while you're there, they have kiosks available. They have everything to accommodate everyone. It's great. They even have Sensory areas. As far as I could see there are only Gender Specific bathrooms, though. Plenty of parking, too. The day can be rather expensive so plan a budget. Lol (One clothing patch cost me $23.00 but it was worth it) Have a funtastic time!

First of all, I love this place! I have been loving this place ever since I was about 4.Parades are Fantastic! They get you to move and groove every now and then. The Character's Include(That I saw on most recent visit for meet in greets) Elmo, Count(excited about), Rudolph (Holiday exclusive),Big Bird, and Bert and Ernie.I am very happy with this choice of characters for the day. We(my family)has time to see them all!Shows are Marvelous! But,I recommend the characters should interact with the kids more and not interact on only the front row.Rides are amazing 😍!Love them!!I recommend this place for 2 and up!Rides for all ages and groups.I come here multiple times a year even though it is a long ride from my home.TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!If they let me I would give this place a million out of 5 stars :).(I have showed pictures of the characters along with this review)
