My group has a 3 night stay, and we have completed one night. Checking in the six rooms for our group was more complicated than I felt it should have been. One of our team members received a key card that didn't work. She had it replaced, and the second key card also didn't work. Another team member's room was supposed to have 2 bathrooms, but the second bathroom was locked and inaccessible. They will be remedying this by changing rooms today. My own room lacks a refrigerator. With a 3 night stay, we have snacks we wanted to keep cold. I was told that when other guests check out, they will bring a refrigerator to our room. Why not just have one for every room? It is a beautiful hotel, but for the price you pay to stay, we should have a seamless experience. I did appreciate the food delivery pick-up area they have near the reservations desk. We had ordered food while we were coming in on the train and were able to sit and eat right away.

Let me say first that this should have been a 5 star review. The lobby is gorgeous, the staff at the bar was attentive, and the front desk staff made our check in and check out easy. Our room had clearly started as two rooms, as we had two bathrooms and two closets, which was a nice bonus. However - the second morning we were there, a shopping bag with 2 days worth of souvenirs was removed from our room. Of course, we did not discover this until we got back to the hotel in the evening. We immediately contacted the desk, and they put us in touch with the housekeeping floor manager and security. Everyone was sympathetic, but no one was willing to take responsibility, nor were we offered any sort of compensation (not even an offer to replace the two items that had been from the hotel's gift shop). We filled out a security incident report with the security manager on the day we checked out (a Sunday), but received no follow-up contact at all. Although what we lost didn't have a large monetary value, it was very disappointing, and really put a damper on our stay. Given the lack of follow up, it's unlikely we will return to this hotel.
