We found our new favorite hotel in Philly! We just got back from a mid week stay during some very rainy weather and fell in love with this place. From the friendly and easy valet service, to Natasha at the front desk who kindly let us change to a King even though we accidentally booked a Queen room, to the yummy and fast room service - we couldn't ask for better. The rooms were spacious and the bed is so far away from the front door that it was so quiet. We didn't even hear housekeeping in the morning and had a great two nights of sleep (after extending our stay) in their very comfy beds and newly renovated rooms. Every staff person we ran into was friendly and addressed us with a smile. Drinks at the lobby bar were delicious and the service was great there too. We were there during a slow time, so I'd hope this would still be true during busy times. Book the room rate that includes parking to get it for about half the price. We are now looking to stay at other Loews properties after such a wonderful experience :) Food & drinks: Room service was yummy and quick! The bar downstairs had good cocktails and was very cozy.

Unbeatable location, right next to a train station stop and in the middle of every attraction you'd care to visit. Great access (walking distance) to fantastic food. A bit of price gouging in areas like the internal market, the only place you can get a soft drink ($5 for a can of Coke?). Thankfully, we didn't drive, as the $60/night parking fee is a bit insulting when you've already paid so much for a room. Rooms: clean and comfortable Nearby activities: literally right in the middle of everything Safety: security staff clearly visible but not at all intrusive. Walkability: Walk to train station, historical sites, great food

If you like an expensive hotel with a nice looking restaurant that have nice joining you while dining and security that eye everyone that make you feel just as uncomfortable as the mice you see while you eat in the main room, this is your place. They did nothing about it, no apology, just acted like oh well but yet got aggressive with my wife, come here. They overcharged us on our bill and did not correct it. There are so many great hotels in the area that are actual really clean and with well mannered staff but not this one.
