Like many folks, I experienced a roof leak after the recent snowfall and rainy weather in January 2024. I received several estimates and Union stood out - the estimate was very reasonable for replacement of my 900 sq foot flat top roof. Union is experienced with Philly rowhomes and this roof style. It was easy to set up a request for an estimate with the office. Chris Stokes came out the day after I called, was prompt and provided me with a comprehensive, written estimate the same day. He took time to answer all of my questions and addressed my first-time home owner concerns. The work was scheduled for a few days later - they even called me on a Sunday to confirm start time. The crew arrived 15 minutes early to get set up and were underway by 7am. Chris was on hand to confirm the work that needed to be done, make any adjustments after the crew did their initial survey, and get the crew started. The crew was efficient and completed the job within 4 hours with all debris hauled away. The after pictures are much appreciated and I was impressed with how tidy everything was left - literally no trace they had been here. I had my insurance adjuster out the next day to assess my interior damage and their roofing contractor was also admiring the work Union did. Despite Union being a larger company with residential and commercial scope, I feel they are very personable with great communication skills. The work comes with a 15 year guarantee and Union is licensed AND insured which gives me peace of mind. I am happy to add them to my list of service providers for my home.
