GUYS - PLEASE, PLEASE READ. I rarely write any reviews but I genuinely felt the responsibility to write this one so I can warn others and hopefully save them from the nightmare I endured. My intention is to save you time and money! DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT hire this company. I actually cannot believe the positive reviews here, not sure if they're bots? I will share my experience which was nothing short of a nightmare. I hired them to spare me the stress of moving, but they only gave me a headache and I wasted my money in the worst possible way. On the first day of the move, we had a team of three movers. However, only one of them seemed interested in doing any actual work. The other two were casually hanging out downstairs, stuffing their faces with food and guzzling soda while the lone worker struggled to handle the entire move by himself. It took them over three excruciating hours to complete a simple one-bedroom move that should have taken a fraction of that time. As if that wasn't bad enough, the second day was even worse. We were left with only two movers, and one of them conveniently had a "medical emergency" that lasted for the ENTIRE move. The remaining mover was left to tackle everything on his own once again. The one who supposedly had a medical emergency miraculously reappeared just in time to collect payment and tips. It was clear that his sudden recovery was motivated solely by money, which is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. To add insult to injury, the lone worker who stayed on the job had no clue how to assemble furniture. I found myself cringing as he awkwardly asked my wife for guidance on putting things together. It was evident that this company lacks the basic training and expertise required for professional moving services. But wait, there's more! Our furniture didn't just arrive in one piece—they arrived in multiple broken pieces and the TV stand was full of scratches. The TV stand, two nightstands, were casualties of their incompetence - not to mention they lost our trash can. Additionally, they failed miserably in assembling our couch, leaving us with a pile of broken parts and frustration. We then reached out to the customer service representatives, Chris and Max, only to be met with further disappointment. Chris displayed dismissiveness and rudeness, even going so far as to mock my wife's accent, pretending not to understand her concerns. When I called back seeking resolution, Chris declined my call, forcing me to speak with Max. To my disbelief, Max not only refused a refund while raising his voice, but accused me of "threatening" him when I expressed my intention to share my experience through a review. After weeks, if not months, of persistent complaints, SEKA Moving reluctantly agreed to a PITIFUL refund that doesn't even come close to covering the damages and losses we suffered. This company's lack of professionalism, disregard for customers, and dismissive customer service make them an absolute disgrace. Save yourself the headache and stress – DO NOT use Seka Moving. This has truly been the worst experience I've ever had with a company and I genuinely do not understand how they're still in business. I've NEVER felt so disrespected by a business. Their unprofessionalism, lack of work ethic, and disregard for your belongings make them a moving nightmare. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere for a reliable and competent moving company.

After receiving a few different quotes from different moving companies, SEKA gave the cheapest quote. After seeing all the positive reviews, we decided to book. We are so happy with our choice, Seka was early, quick and efficient. They were able to move my one bedroom apartment into the truck in 30 minutes. (I lived on the 4th floor) We had a two stop move, mine and my boyfriends place, and they were able to complete the entire move in less than 4 hours. We would definitely recommend SEKA to anyone in NYC. Will definitely be using again!

I have moved many times in my life, but Seka Movers were the best movers that I have ever hired. They were quick to respond when I contacted them. Everything to book is online and was very clear and thorough. The foreman Mikhail (spelling?) and his men arrived slightly early and were very pleasant, courteous, thoughtful, organized and efficient. They were extremely careful; wrapped all of my furniture in blankets, so that not a single item was scratched or damaged. They did not charge anything extra on the day of the move. I highly recommend them.
