From a very nervous, absolute beginner to passing my test first time - the entire experience with Topgear Driving Tuition Limited has been professional and warm. Johnny specifically was a fantastic teacher - very calm, patient and explained things promptly. An excellent experience, I would highly recommend their lessons to anyone thinking of picking up driving!

Johnny & Topgear definitely deserve an excellent recommendation! I started lessons with Johnny after quite depressing experiences with two separate driving instructors. With the first, I felt more like a hourly, money-machine than an actual person and with the second I felt awkward simply being in the car with the instructor! In my opinion, learning to drive (especially in your 30’s) is more a mind game and it’s firstly about feeling comfortable in your space. I did not feel this with my previous instructors. So, when I started with Topgear I had absolutely 0% expectations and was almost on the verge of giving up! Now that I have passed, I can gladly say that I am happy I didn’t give up at the time! Johnny is an amazing driving instructor! PERIOD! He is very patient, extremely thorough, has techniques in place to train you in different stages of your learning, advices you on what to expect in driving tests, and trains you to feel comfortable behind the wheels! He keeps his explanations simple & logical, making things easy to remember going forward. Added to this, he has a lovely personal touch, puts you at ease (has an amazing sense of humor 😉). I really appreciate that he made an effort to pick-up & drop-off at my place of choice, which really helped me at the time! He didn’t have to, and it was a very kind gesture on his part! Overall, he made the whole experience very enjoyable and I would happily recommend Topgear to anyone leaning to drive! They are definitely an asset to new learners 👍🏽!
