Ryanair's customer reviews analysis

Evaluating Ryanair's reputation based on the provided customer reviews highlights a mixed customer experience with a propensity towards negative feedback. Recurring themes center on frustration with delays, perceived poor service quality, and additional charges. Delays are a prominent issue, with customers experiencing long wait times and insufficient communication from the airline. The boarding process also comes under scrutiny for being chaotic and unorganized. Additionally, staff professionalism has been called into question, specifically in the context of a medical emergency, where the expected level of care and communication was not met. Customer experiences with in-flight services, such as seating quality and crew behavior, are pointedly criticized. Additionally, the company's baggage policies and their inconsistent implementation appear to be a significant source of dissatisfaction, potentially undermining trust and customer goodwill.

Positive Feedback

Despite the prevalently negative reviews, there are commendable aspects of Ryanair's service from the perspective of some customers. Notably, the affordability of tickets is consistently acknowledged - Ryanair's competitive pricing remains an attractive feature that continues to draw customers seeking budget travel options. When flights are punctual, the on-time performance is positively received. A subset of customers have had experiences aligned with their expectations for a low-cost carrier, indicating that Ryanair can deliver on its value proposition when operational execution aligns with company promises.

Concerns and Threads

The negative aspects of Ryanair's service, as derived from customer feedback, are numerous and impact significantly on its reputation. High on the list are the frequent and uncommunicated delays that disrupt travel plans and the inconsistent enforcement of luggage policies, which leads to unexpected charges and a perception of exploitative behavior. The boarding process and baggage handling are also criticized for inefficiency and disorganization, resulting in stress and dissatisfaction among passengers. Concerns regarding the professionalism and behavior of flight crew members, particularly during incidents requiring attentiveness and care, further erode the perceived quality of the airline's service. Lastly, the overall discomfort of seating and the perceived 'nickel-and-diming' for additional services contribute to a negative perception of Ryanair as prioritizing cost-cutting over customer satisfaction.

Dumbest losers around. It’s all rush rush rush for them to make us wait for hours and hours on account of their delays. Every flight I’ve taken since Covid has been delayed- rubbish company. Hate them. Fix up. FR5996

Honestly never really had a bad experience with Ryanair. The tickets are cheap and the service is good. The lauda planes are probably what brings them down, damaged seating, good service thought, and a loud ringing noise throughout the plane which we have never experienced. Overall alright. Cannot complain for the price.

Just awful. First and last time. I blame BA for cancelling my flight forcing me to have to use Ryanair. Sitting writing this an hour behind scheduled take off with no announcements or apologies whatsoever. Chaos boarding. We were priority boarding but so were 95% of the flight. People joking on the plane saying “typical Ryanair”. You have this reputation for a reason!
