A very disappointing experience. The technician was unable to fix our boiler and spent an extensive amount of time attempting to get spare parts. After returning, he informed us that there were no available spares and suggested getting a quote for boiler replacement. Surprisingly, we were charged nearly £500 despite leaving us with a faulty boiler. The plumber claimed to have spent 4 hours in our flat, but it seems he only conducted two brief inspections. To make matters worse, two days later, the water leakage worsened, penetrating the wall and causing damage to our bedroom floor and wall. Additionally, the towel radiator valve, which was flagged during his initial visit, was not fixed on the second visit. We requested a refund, but the customer service response was significantly delayed, contrary to their 3-5 working days claim. They resisted issuing a refund and are currently in negotiations. Avoid this company. Waste of time and money.

AVOID … Believe all the negative 1 star reviews you read here and avoid these people at all costs. In hindsight I wish I had paid attention to reviews before I booked them in. I’ll give one star for the fact that the appointment booking service is smooth and quick. Everything that follows is pretty much a scam. For someone to come and look at our underfloor heating issue, I was quoted two rates to choose from over the phone when booking the appointment and made to pay right away. When the engineer arrived, straight away (delivery almost well practiced) there was suddenly a third type of rate that apparently applied to our setup and obviously the most expensive of the three rates. At that point I had little choice but to accept as I had already made arrangements at home and at work to be present for the appointment and didn’t want to reschedule. Later on in the day when I tried to get customer service on the phone to explain why I wasn’t told about this more expensive rate over the phone when booking the response literally was “sorry I don’t know and can’t help you because you already accepted the higher rate quoted by the engineer at the door” .. not much left to argue on there! Then, what I would describe as tops 1 hour job to identify the issue, ended up taking 2 hours so I had to take my card out again to pay the uplift on the day. Then follows the worst part — for the proposed follow-up work to fix the issue the engineer quotes me a full day of labour and full overhaul of our underfloor heating wiring system. Labour cost alone amounting to over £1.6k for the full day and the cost for parts nearly £1k so a total of over £2.6k vat inclusive (as they love to remind you the whole time). I wasn’t prepared to take them on their word so I contacted a local much smaller plumbing service (should have done that in the first instance) who came in the same week and within less than an hour diagnosed the problem on nearly half the hourly rate charged by pimlico plumbers and including the follow-up work it cost us under £700 and the issue has been fixed completely. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions based on my experience but know that you are not going to be dealing with an honest business, very likely be out of pocket by a fair stretch with no guarantee your problem will be fixed even after paying whatever humongous rates they charge you!

Absolute cowboys. Had them round to install a new shower and they insisted all pipes under the bath were old and had to be refitted. Stayed for a full day and charged £1000, a year later I discover they’ve done such a shoddy job the pipes are leaking into the floorboards. Lovely local plumber who came to fix it said these guys are literally trained to make up reasons to eke out a job and rack up as high a cost as possible. Never again
