I chose Murray Brothers to assist me with laying my husband to rest. Demetrius McCray made an unbearable process, SEAMLESS! He remained in constant communication with me, and always maintained such a high level of professionalism. Thank you Demetrius, and Murray Brothers for your alignment with my vision of sending my husband home regally.

My 94 year old grandmother was laid to rest today. I must say I was pleased with the young lady that got her dressed and made up, but after today I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I was very disappointed with Dexter, the director that so-called guided us through this process: *Dexter had incorrect dates written down. A family's friend had to point this out *Skirt under casket during view looked horrible. Please throw that one in the trash *Funeral tags were forgotten, Dexter told us they don't like to hand them out anymore *Grandma was twisted in casket and so were her clothes *Skinny, bald and tall man that greeted us at the door was very rude/ nasty *Dexter rushed the process, misspelling words, and he put the wrong address on the form *Dexter forgot to give us the form that gives details of how we wanted my grandma's look to go *They dismissed the entire funeral and left the body in the church. The pallbearers and flower girls didn't get to do their jobs *No ashes to ashes saying... Everything just felt rushed. If we can just stop and focus, then we will barely miss the small details. These are folks family members. We know you don't hive a damn, but at least fake it for us. Murry Brothers sucks!

When my mother passed I came into Murray Brothers Funeral Home and spoke with Dexter to make the necessary arrangements for the services and cremation. After the cremation Murray Brothers sent my sister part of my mother's ashes and copies of the death certificate without my permission or even my knowledge. Now my mother is not whole. Just bad business and actually getting ready to take legal action. So in short, do not go to Murray Brothers. They are very unprofessional.
