I came to see TJ at District Performance & Physio after struggling with patellar tendonitis for over a year, preventing me from performing at the gym and on the field. In addition I had been experiencing mild pain in my upper quad and IT band that was impacting my sleep quality on a nightly basis. I had previously met with two different in-network physical therapists, but had been underwhelmed by the treatment/coaching provided. In both cases I was told that due to my age (34) I would likely need to step down the level of intensity at the gym and reconsider playing competitive sports. My experience with TJ couldn’t have been more different. From the beginning he took my pain seriously while also acknowledging the importance of getting me back to the shape and level of performance I was at prior to my knee pain. TJ took the time to build and coach me through a plan that included stretching and strengthening exercises on my own with in-person treatments like blood flow restriction training and dry needling. 3 months later I completed a full season of competitive kickball without knee pain, returned to the gym at a level of high intensity and found myself sleeping through the night without leg pain. I attribute this fully to TJ’s coaching and therapy. If you are considering trying an out of network provider, I can say with great confidence that it is worth every penny. Don’t compromise and extend your recovery just to pay double the amount of copayments it will take to achieve the same results at District Performance & Physio.

Definitely recommended! I worked with Ariella for postpartum pelvic floor therapy (that is very difficult to find around and other places have insane waiting lists not to mention also higher prices) and she definitely helped my recovery process immensely! She gives effective but efficient exercise that is doable and not overwhelming for me to do myself everyday! The registration process was also simple, informative, and helpful! Overall very happy that I choose District Performance and Physiotherapy ! Thank you Ariella!

I've been working with Fay for about three months to recover from a running injury and have had a great experience! She was thoughtful and caring. I look forward to our sessions (which, at 8am is itself an accomplishment). She helped me develop a recovery program that is in line with my objectives and well integrated in my existing exercise activities. I also have the impression that she genuinely wants me to get better and get back to the activities that I was missing, and is not trying to find reasons to sell me on more unneeded sessions. I'd highly recommend working with her!
