Highland Yoga - Memorial's customer reviews analysis

The overall company reputation of Highland Yoga - Memorial appears to be overwhelmingly positive based on the recent reviews. Customers appreciate the variety of available sessions, cleanliness of the studio, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the instructors. Several reviews highlight the accessible sign-up process and the attractive $30 introductory offer for a month of unlimited yoga, which seems to effectively draw in new clients. The diversity of classes and instructors seems to be a big selling point, along with the often mentioned warm and encouraging atmosphere. However, there are also mentions of classes being crowded and the studio having some minor operational hiccups, such as awkward class transitions and additional fees for amenities like towel rental. These points of dissatisfaction, while seemingly minor compared to the positive feedback, are recurring enough to warrant attention and potential action from the studio's management.

Positive Feedback

The key positive aspects of customer feedback focus on the variety and quality of yoga classes offered at Highland Yoga - Memorial. Clients are attracted by the studio's introductory deal which encourages trial and potential loyalty. The variety of timeslots and class types caters to different schedules and preferences. The studio's overall ambiance, characterized by adequate temperature for workouts and natural lighting, adds to the clients' positive experience. Instructors at Highland Yoga are consistently described as welcoming, skilled, and good at crafting challenging flows, which indicates a high level of satisfaction with the teaching quality. Additional amenities, such as water fountains, secure storage for personal items, and fresh washcloths with essential oils, contribute to the positive customer experience. Moreover, the digital conveniences such as the ease of signing up and checking in online are mentioned as a clear benefit.

Concerns and Threads

While the feedback for Highland Yoga - Memorial is largely positive, some challenges and areas for improvement are noted by customers. Classes can be crowded, which might detract from personal space during practice and could impact the overall experience. The transition process of entering and exiting classes is described as awkward, suggesting that the studio could streamline this aspect of customer service. Additionally, some clients have expressed a preference for a smaller teacher-to-student ratio along with on-site amenities such as showers. The extra charge for towel rentals has been identified as an unpopular practice that feels 'corporate' and at odds with the otherwise welcoming vibe of the studio. There’s also a mention of the lack of mirrors in the studio, which can be a challenge for those who rely on mirrors for balance during practice.

I signed up since the studio was offering $30/first month, unlimited sessions for new students. I have had a great experience so far! I will definitely be signing up for more classes after the period is over. There’s plenty of time slots and different types of classes throughout the day, the studio is clean and all of the instructors I’ve had so far have been really friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say is that if you are new to yoga, you’d probably want to start with the slow flow classes. The power yoga classes (in my opinion) are not for the inexperienced or newbies.

I just completed my second class at Highland Yoga and it has been nothing but positive vibes so far! Both teachers I’ve had have been welcoming, kind, and highly skilled at guiding a challenging flow. The room is just the right temp for a sweaty but not too hot workout, and is perfectly glowy with natural light. I feel welcome and encouraged. The sign-up/check-in process is very convenient and simple. What more can you ask for!

I am new to Atlanta from Orlando but have been practicing hot yoga for 15 years. This studio was nearby and I feel like I chose well. The check-in was simple after signing up online. I chose to buy the 1 Month of Yoga for $30. You can use it at any of their 9 locations. There’s a water fountain if needed and secure place to store your things. Class was crowded but I had enough room to flow. The HY Power Flow class led by Ally had an excellent flow and energetic music with great mantras/lessons at the beginning and end. We were given a fresh, cold washcloth with essential oils right before corpse pose. It was divine. I really look forward to the next one I attend.
