Corepower Yoga's customer reviews analysis

The reviews of CorePower Yoga suggest a positive reputation for the company, with many customers expressing high satisfaction with the quality of the instructors, the ambiance of the studios, and the overall user experience. A recurring theme is the appreciation for the atmosphere created by the instructors, with particular compliments on their ability to accommodate varying levels of yoga experience, providing modifications for poses, and fostering a sense of community. The South Loop location is frequently mentioned for its impressive cityscape views and its instructors' engagement with students. However, there are concerns regarding the temperature control in the rooms, particularly at locations with large windows where heat can be intense, even during non-heated classes. Also noted is the departure of a popular instructor leading to some dissatisfaction among regular clients. The balance between cost and perceived value is also a point of consideration, with some customers viewing the classes as an investment in their wellbeing despite the premium pricing structure.

Positive Feedback

CorePower Yoga receives high praise for several key aspects of its service. Customers speak highly of the studio's locations, particularly the South Loop branch, for its stunning city views and accessible parking. The skilled and engaging instructors are a major positive highlight, with many personal shout-outs to instructors who have made significant impacts on customer experiences. The staff is described as friendly and attentive, with efforts to remember individual names, elevating the personal touch of the service. The dynamic, personalized classes cater to a wide range of fitness levels and are lauded for their effective structure, fun and functional workouts, which are complemented by well-thought-out music playlists. Instructors like Margarita receive special commendation for their ability to create an inclusive and energetic practice environment. Additionally, the clean and well-maintained facilities, alongside community events like sushi nights, contribute to an inviting atmosphere that encourages customer loyalty.

Concerns and Threads

Despite the many positives, CorePower Yoga faces some challenges that impact customer experiences. Temperature regulation is a recurrent issue, especially in rooms with panoramic windows where the heat can become excessive, negatively affecting the comfort and performance of clients during classes. The departure of favored instructors, such as Carmilla at the South Loop location, has caused some customers to express disappointment and boredom with the current offerings, suggesting instructor consistency is vital for customer satisfaction. Space constraints in certain studios, like Gold Coast, have also been mentioned, with customers feeling cramped, especially when classes are fully booked. These areas of concern potentially detract from the overall positive customer experience and may influence prospective customers when considering CorePower Yoga services.

5/5!? 10/10!!!! I'm just going to copy and paste what I sent them directly as feedback. I just thought it wasn't enough and needed to share, just incase if someone was on the fence of trying it out! To whomever it may concern: My name is Larissa Ramirez, and I just wanted to say that I have had the best experience in COREPOWER Hot Yoga classes this past week. There is something special about every inch of your body sweating at the end of the day. Being a functional adult-means that there are various stressors throughout the day that one encounters. Just wanted to say that it had been so magical to be able to reflect and be so vulnerable in a place that is the complete opposite of pretentious. The guidance received from ALL of the different instructors was just so welcoming. Literally left every session/practice like *insert in the feels big eyed emoji*. I signed up for the free trial week, and used it 3x! One session was not enough! That’s how amazing that was. I now don't see myself not doing it. Wish it was a little more practical on the $ end, but I want to think that if I do this- it will be an investment in me, because I have left every practice a better human. (Meaning–patient, less irritated, calm- as a person who has dealt with trauma and has chronic anxiety and depression, my happiness is directly tied to my sense of safety and belonging). THANK YOU for providing a space that brings me just that. Is it too much to say that I love you all at the south loop location? With immense gratitude, Larissa Ramirez

Amazing view with windows facing the skyline make for a great session! Unfortunately with all the windows- that also means that the rooms get INCREDIBLY hot! Even for non-heated classes the rooms have sometimes been unbearably hot making some classes difficult to participate in. Instructors are great, plenty of parking available, bike parking at ground level also available. Wish they’d have a way to cool rooms off more effectively at this location.

South Loop is an awesome studio perched on top of a parking garage with amazing views of the city to enjoy during your practice. Staff are friendly and take a genuine interest in all their class members. They always make an effort to remember my name, which makes me feel like a part of the community. Facilities are clean and well kept, too.
