Beautiful nature preserve, but beware that the hiking trails are not beginner friendly. Be prepared for an intense amount of stairs at some points. Place also gets crowded on the weekends and that can be a good thing because you know it's safe, but it sucks when you're on you're 30th step and there are people behind you so you have to step up the pace lol. Also people like to run through the trails so you have to watch out for them especially when taking on these steps. There is a huge snapping turtle at the pond which also happened to be incredibly underwhelming.

During my recent visit to a certain location, I was mesmerized by the beauty of the place which was adorned with a breathtaking view of bluebonnets. The sight was truly astonishing and left me in awe. However, I was disappointed to discover that a particular section of the trail was temporarily closed during my visit. What surprised me even more was that this important information was not declared on the official website, which led to some inconvenience and confusion. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and appreciated the beauty of the place.

I enjoyed my first time here two days ago on a Sunday! Many people were on the trail and I felt safe hiking by myself. Much needed. I can't wait until the flowers start blooming.
